Sushi Up

Of all the sushi places we've been to in Utah this is our favorite! A surprisingly unassuming little spot just off the freeway in Orem. The service is always friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is clean and inviting with contemporary Japanese pop music. And the food - oh the FOOD! Best tasting sushi rolls in Utah! Also has bento boxes, bowls, salads, and sides which are all freshly prepared and delicious, but I come for the sushi rolls. I recommend the Monkey Brains, Dragon Roll, and especially the Salmon Bake - but it has all your favorites from other places, just better!

This restaurant is really amazing! The food was amazing and they had so many different options. The sushi eaters in my family really enjoyed all the fish options saying that it was really fresh and delicious and beautifully crafted! I myself enjoyed the vegetarian options! Their Avocado is phenomenal! I had their bento box as well and I don't think I've ever had a more delicious meal. That chicken was godly. Their service was great and helped us figure out our best option budget wise and variety wise. 10/10 definitely going again!

I have been coming here for literally forever I don’t know how I haven’t taken pictures of the million rolls I get every time! Top favorites are: Mango roll TnT Monkey brain ANY Nigiri/sashimi Everything tastes fresh I have never EVER once had a funky roll from here that’s why I keep coming back it’s definitely sushi you can trust. I got my phone in time for an empty plate because it’s THAT GOOD I spend $32 on three rolls, 2 bobas and a tip! The combo of three rolls for like $17 is amazing; I am so glad they’ve kept it around. The rolls are in different counts of pieces so if you’re looking to go ham check the count on the bottom of the name on the menu. The miso soup is really good too. Ala carte Rolls range from $6-15 depending on if it’s a specialty or a nigiri etc. The sushi chefs are THE NICEST PEOPLE I’ve always had a good experience with the staff. The wait is so short and it’s chill inside, nice black walls and decor very well done. They’re now offering a smoothie type boba too with popping pearls or regular tapioca and those are cheaper than any boba place around it. ($6) versus $8-10

I've lived in Japan and have tried most of the sushi places in Utah County over the years. The quality here is better than any other Utah sushi. Also. Our food took a very long time to come, which was frustrating. However, they did give me and my wife a free appetizer and apologized for the wait - no one does that!! Very good form.
