Lovely place for a quick snack or sandwich. The staff are friendly. They have a variety of fillings for their sandwiches, but do tend to run out of pesto a lot, which is something I always go for but often have to end up with something else, but never left disappointed.

This is my go-to place for workday breakfast and/or lunch. To call it a sandwich shop is a gross understatement. It's a quality deli, bright and spacious with great ambiance. There is an endless choice of breads, meats, fillers, dressings and desserts. A choice of soups-of-the day or hot sandwiches are perfect for nippy days.
Philpotts also has, imho, one of the best salad station in town, where you can mix and match bases, veggies, protein toppings (hot&cold) and dressings to build your very own salad, a different one each day of the year.
As expected, the place gets very busy during exact office lunch break hours, so to enjoy the great service from the lovely staff, be there a bit early. and not too late.

This is a lovely little sandwich shop that produces hot and cold delicious sandwiches for those on the go. There are loads of filling choices but unfortunately the same can not be said for seating, so if you want to grab an amazing sandwich and don't mind eating while taking in the sights then this is the sandwich shop for you.
