We recently went to the Robin Hood for the first time in quite a while and the new owners were exceptionally friendly. The subtle changes to the decor are great but what blew me away was the food. Someone mentioned they went there recently for the Sunday Roast and it was the best they had ever. Since it wasn’t a Sunday we had the fish & chips and I’ve had a few in my time but nothing came close to this. The fish was cooked perfectly with a wonderful crispy chipotle batter. The minted peas and home made tartar sauce were fantastic and the coating on the chips made them very, very tasty.
Exceptional.
The transformation at the Robin is great with many shows & events scheduled.

Cracking little pub. Nice friendly locals and AMAZING staff. Good selection of weekly entertainment. Great drink options at good prices. Will have to try the food next time! Good central location, tidy and clean inside and a really cool & large outdoor space. Will definitely be back!

I can only rate the service and atmosphere. It's an extremely busy pub. It's family friendly which is excellent if that is what you are seeking. I prefer a more quiet pub.

Easily one of the best pubs in sherwood. The new food menu is good, plenty of veggie and vegan options on the menu.
Great range of beers on draft and regularly changed cask.

Had such a great evening at the quiz! Matt was also such a babe, my friend was a little too drunk and he looked after her and was nothing but a gentlemen and looked after her, got her water, sent her home in a taxi and made sure she was safe. Next time we come in I will tip Matt because he was amazing

Friendly staff ,food was lovely ,so tasty ,I had chilli sausage and mash ,hubby had burger and my son had fish and chips ,not a bit left on our plates .
