We only had a couple of drinks here. I absolutely love the decor, and it had a brilliant atmosphere. Will definitely return loved it.

What an awesome place, if you're looking for something a little bit different, this pub is a must. Very funny friendly staff, especially Billy, he made us feel so welcome. Great variety of drinks and great value. Can't wait to go back.

Only gave 3 stars for atmosphere as I went at a quiet time. Am assured it gets busier in the evenings. Fabulously quirky vibe. Beer and food were great.

The toilets are hidden behind a bookcase and have a warning not to summon demons. The cocktails are named after deadly sins y heavenly virtues. Which is all brilliant. Add to this, it's clean (no sticky tables) and staff are friendly. Highly recommended

Went here for a private function, ordered food while here, food was served quickly, piping hot and tasted good. The only complaint I could make about the place was; the level of the floor down stairs, single steps everywhere, I understand this is an old building but steps weren't always clear as the downstairs isn't well lit! For people with mobility issues and sight issues this might be an issue.

Don't be put off by the outside, looks like any normal pub. Once inside, the interesting stuff starts, gothic horror interior. Downstairs has alcoves and displays. The cocktails are original and the names blend well with the theme. A definite must go to just for the atmosphere. Oh, the toilets are hidden!!!

The place is so different from most in Nottingham City. Good variety of drinks...7 sins cocktails and shots. The food was filling yummy, wouldn't be my go to, but satisfied me. Lots of space to eat, chat and hang out any day of the week. There is a downstairs area just like a dungeon, so many little alcoves and good luck with finding the toilet! You've got to visit the Pit if in town.

I adore this place. At first it was for the atmosphere and it helps that there are some really good drinks too (thanks for the Elvis juice and lilleys cider!) but after visiting for a while we tried the food menu and found that it was really good. Both for taste and value. The meatballs are so good and the hottest chicken wings on offer actually have heat to them which is nice as so many places claim to have spicy wings but they don’t come close to these wings. To top it all off the Staff have always been friendly and helpful. An all round great experience and I’ll continue to come back time and again.

It wasn't my first visit but sincerely must say the best one. Today popped in here twice before Iron Maiden's concert. Trendy crowds, lots of metal heads, good sort of ales and lagers and metal music. So what to expect more here? Next time will try their food. Haven't been here for a while so I had funny experience looking for toilet. Finally I found it. Hopefully I won't forget where this hidden treasure is. Started coming here quite regularly with friends when come to Nottingham.
