Itz-a-buffet

I live in the area and wanted to give the place a try, Short version, that was a mistake. Long version, I liked the idea of a place where the kids could play and my wife and i could sit and enjoy a hot meal. We expected a place with plenty of options and a friendly family environment. To start, the selection of foods wasn't bad, but the quality was awful. They put no effort into the quality of the food. There was nothing there that i couldn't throw together in 10 minutes at home. Some of it was edible but all of it was lacking flavor and very oily. The staff didn't seem to be there. No one was there to greet us when we walked in and we had to wait for someone to come around and take our money since you pay before you get to see the food. I dont know what they were busy doing since there was only two tables with people at them. I completed three plates by the time the girl came around to clear the used ones. The tables and floors were clean so no complaints there. I will definitely not be back to this place in the future.

After reading some of the Yelp reviews I must admit I was a little nervous about trying this place but since most of the reviews were around the time the place first opened we figured we would give it a try for lunch. To be fair the buffet was not huge but more than adequate. However that being said the salad we had was fresh, the tuna noodle salad was really good as was the meatloaf, chicken, macaroni and cheese, sausage and peppers, and the Eggplant Parmesan. There was rice, and a variety of meats, starches, and vegetables. Everything is made fresh there and is not frozen and mass produced like many buffets so obviously selection will not be quite as large but adequate. Bathrooms were nice and clean and the staff was extremely friendly and we told them the only criticism we had was that they need to have a better selection for dessert. Also they have a nice play area for kids near some tables available for no extra charge. We went for lunch so I consider the price more than decent for what we got. I think they should stress more the fact that they make everything fresh and it is more about the quality than quantity! FYI-I wrote this similar review on Yelp and they put it under "Not Recommended" because it was positive and the restaurant won't "pay" them to publish the good ones. Shameful on their part. Give this place a try and judge for yourself!

We visited about 1pm on a Sunday afternoon. The price is $14.99 per person and the weekend brunch from 10 to 2 that they advertise on the website was not there. There was a small tray of a few pieces of bacon that was emptied while we were there, two trays of yogurt (no parfait toppings as shown on the website) and a tray of cold waffles with a syrup container. No sausage, eggs or other breakfast foods. We got water (I don't think we were charged for it as others were) but it tasted absolutely horrible, like plastic or chlorine. I ended up not drinking for the meal. Then there were regular dinner foods, but it is still fairly small - definitely do not expect a Golden Corral or some such place - it is just one counter of food. I made a salad and the selection of meat was okay, but as another reviewer posted, there are no desserts at all (she mentioned brownies; they did not have even that when were there) . I found that kind of odd for a kid friendly buffet. The food itself was good had the price been less it would be worth it, but if this was their weekend fare, I would not want to be there for lunch or something, during the week. If you need a fast "in and out" meal without waiting for menus, etc and you have kids; with a few minor adjustments to the menu, (as in, being truer to what is advertised on the website) this place could be a lot of fun.

Loved it. Great food at an affordable price. A variety of food choices (tacos, fresh garden salad, chicken fingers, grilled chicken, sausage & peppers, lasagna)so everyone was happy. The owner & the staff were very friendly & helpful. The play area kept the kids entertained which allowed the adults to enjoy dinner. Everyone had a great time. We'll be back.

We have a very large family with a lot of kids so when my little brother told us his WEDDING RECEPTION was to be here we were excited yet skeptical! I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 14 years and I notice everything! We had a blast! The facility is immaculate. The staff works hard and takes pride in every aspect and were unbelievably friendly and accommodating, especially when we arrived an hour earlier then expected! Our kids were thrilled that they could run around and be kids! Everyone jumped in the jungle gym including the groom! Thank you so much to Theresa and her staff for hosting such an awesome reception for our family!

I love this restaurant. The food was delicious and varied: tacos, Mac n cheese, fresh garden salad, chicken francese, etc. too many dishes to fully list. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant is very unique, the main dining room features an arcade and a huge 5 story jungle jim! This is where you could find all the kids after their dinner! There is a separate dining area that is isolated from the main dining room for people who came just for the buffet. We will be returning very soon!

The selections for food items were lack luster. Variety and Selection of food was severely lacking. Trays were not replenished and the appearance of the inside dining area was not appealing to grown adults more for kids. It reminded me of Chucky Cheese. Price was too high for the lack of selection. Some of the meats were overcooked. The young staff gives an unprofessional appearance. Would not recommend.
