Hidden gem up the stairs in the main town. Really tasty pies, huge chunks of meat. Friendly staff, out of the hustle and bustle. They offer snacks such as scotch eggs and mince pies too. Mash was super buttery and creamy really nice. Dog friendly. Starbucks coffee. Will be back! We loved it so much we got a box of the mince pies to take away.

Saw theses pies on Courtney St Newton Abbot today and I must say, it was amazing!!!
I will definitely be coning back...and will look into putting in a larger order soon.

The owner uses are shop and has promised us a pie for a while, all i can say it was definitely worth the wait. The steak and ale pie is the best pie i have ever eaten, the steak just melted in your mouth. Keep up the good work, will be telling my friends and colleges about you guys.

I have ordered from hear a few times now and I can say for sure best place for a takeaway if dont want something dirty and greasy. Their pies are second to none. Very tasty. Great flavour, amazing well textured pastry. The stake and ale where you can finally taste a good ale in it, just what I want. No pie I have had comes close to what these guys make. It's a breath of fresh air to have a good takeaway. The cheesy mash is just to die for, such a wonderful creamy, cheesy greatness, just writing about it makes me drool. Never thought mash could be so good. They all ways deliver on time and foods all ways lovely and hot. If you are still yet to order from hear then do it now its brillant, if you cant go in to newton abbot market they are normally there with a stall. Five stars all the way!

These are fabulous pies, very well made and very tasty to eat. The pastry is lovely and the fillings are generous and of excellent quality. They come well packaged. I am about to reorder!

Absolutely the best pies in Devon, the perfect filling to pastry ratio and my god that meat, the steak and ale that I had was gorgeous. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The pies are outstandingly superb both in choice and quality and are made with the best of ingredients. Once tried you'll think twice before ordering similar products in pubs/restaurants - there's just no comparison. These are the real deal. Long may they continue!

Had a steak and potato pie here last week whilst on holiday in Newton Abbot but didn’t eat it until the car journey home !!! It was fantastic great pieces of steak nice potato and a small amount of gravy by far the 1 of the best pies I’ve ever eaten!! I wished I’d bought it earlier so I could of got more to bring home !! If you like pies buy one you won’t be disappointed a Newton Abbot gem !!!👍🏻👍🏻
