The gyro was decent, could have used some more meat. The ice cream was soft serve and good. The fries were so so, smelled great in there and looked just like a New York Deli with "boxes" everywhere. Super friendly staff even though it took a little bit longer than expected due to a fryer issue. Has a couple tables inside and outside too.

I use to eat at Dave’s NY Deli 2-3 times a weeks for breakfast until after this morning. There was an older lady with darker wavy hair taking orders complaining to a customer about another customer that came in there ordering $50+ amount of food and how it was annoying because it took her 10 minutes to ring it up because of the specifications on the order. Then continued to tell the customer that she had sat her child down on the counter and the kid was grabbing cookies that were on the counter. She continued to go on and on about how it was so inconvenient. You should be grateful that people come in there spending $50+ on food. Regardless of how this employee is affiliated to this store/owner there’s no reason for so much disrespect towards your customers and past customers. Updated- I previously left this review and they replied with “I didn’t have all the facts” and then explained to me what I was apparently missing. You’re right it is not sanitary for children in only diapers to be on the counter. For the cookies, like you said I was not there but it is a baby and how much damage can I baby due to a wrapped up cookie to the point of it needing to be thrown away. There could’ve been promotional opportunities for that cookies to be discounted and sold with you still making a profit. Lastly if that customer was being rude to your employees there are boundaries that can be set in place to benefit your employees and not put them in a position to feel the need to complain to other customers about customers in result of this.

I’ve lived in Tioga for over a year, ordered on Door Dash and picked up my order no problem. Until TODAY, when I walked in and grabbed my order like I ALWAYS HAVE and am usually told, “Have a great day!” Instead, a little grumpy woman fussed at me today in front of the entire restaurant and told me I need to notify her when I’m grabbing the food I PAID FOR. Um…. No ma’am. Thanks though. Don’t worry. You won’t be seeing me or my family again.
