If you are in the Upper East Side and want a delicious slice of pizza then definitely stop by Delizia 73. They have the most yummiest grandma slice in the Upper East Side! The bread is light and not doughy, it has the perfect amount of sauce to cheese ratio.
This location has bee here since 1983 and there is a good reason why its been around for so long. Pizza's are amazing!

I hate leaving low-rated reviews, but this needs to be addressed! Terrible service, terrible management. Especially disappointing at these times when everything is so expensive and instead of an enjoyable experience you get a hostile, rude Service and attitude!

We weren’t happy with food taste and quality of food. After we mentioned that, we didn’t really feel we were listened or understood. No apologies, no changes in the check. Owner was very rude.

Casual upper east side pizzeria with nice back room restaurant. The veal dish was tender with a delicate flavorful lemon sauce with capers. Large serving of 3 luscious pieces. They offer you either a salad or pasta and I opted for a salad which was crispy and delicious and had tomatoes green beans olives and served with a delicious Italian dressing and warm garlic rolls or Italian bread. Dependable pizza and food. Definitely reputable for a dine and dash or a full hot Italian meal. Their tomato sauce has the old world flavor! So tasty!

I live right near here and definitely my go to pizza spot when I am home. Delizia is a staple of the Upper East Side of Manhattan with two locations, one on 73rd and the other on 92nd st. I have had pizza, pasta and heroes here and so far none have disappointed me. Prices are reasonable for the area. Service from all the guys working here is great, they are friendly and always ensure I have everything I need for my meal. Recommend to anyone in the Upper East Side looking for good pizza!!

I don’t know why this place doesn’t make more “best pizza” lists, but I’m glad it’s on the dl. Classic, old-timey neighborhood joint with one of the best Grandma slices I’ve ever had. They do slices all hours but you can order whole pizzas too and there’s a cute lil restaurant in the back. Caesar salad was also fresh and tasty.

I don't know how this place has such good reviews on Google maps. I placed an order for take out.
I got a mozzarella and basil pizza. It was horrible, the basil was burnt to a crisp, the sauce had no flavor, the cheese even less. I asked for garlic on the pie which cost $4 and the garlic wasn't even fresh! It was jar/canned garlic!
Garlic knots were decent but they didn't even have garlic on them, probably had fake garlic also.
Got clams, not pictured because when I opened the container a foul chemical order came out. I am not even going to try that and I love seafood.
For dessert, I got a Nutella pie. The crust was harder than the cardboard it came in. I tried to bite it but I couldn't get through the dough.
I am so upset. This was almost $65 and it is all going in the trash. What a waste of money.
