Everything was delicious and promptly delivered by a friendly and helpful staff. Digging deep to find something that can be approved upon, all I can think of is that the wine pour was a little light. I had the Montepulciano, which was tasty, and I appreciate their varied selection of wines by the glass. - Ariane Qureshi

The food was pretty good not mindblowing, they asked us a bit too often how everything was. Not their fault, but when other restaurants do it better this place was more 4 star than 5. Food came reasonably quick.

Fantastic food! We loved the hummus, the mallawach, burekas, and the zahtar pita! The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the ambiance was beautiful!

Genuinely exceptional service!!! We did the prefix menu for Halloween with a view of the parade, and it was phenomenal.

The Mallawach (Yemeni flaky bread stuffed with eggs / herby sauce) is the best brunch item in New York. Subtle, satisfying, lip-smackin good. Lovely sidewalk seating outdoors!

This place was delicious! Went here to celebrate my Fiancé's birthday! We had so many good things to eat. We started our meal with the hummus, followed by the mushroom, charred eggplant, and beet small plates, and finished with the lamb shank and the kubeh with chicken broth. I would say the flavors were pretty complex without being spicy. The atmosphere was perfect for our date night. Highly recommend.

Everyone needs to try this place! Samantha, our host, curated our meal at my request and it was THE BOMB! We loved every dish she brought to us! Samantha served with pride, knowing that every dish brought to us would be a new, pleasing, flavor sensation. Great service and food.

This was a hungry boi certified meal. V yummy. The shakshuka was a biiit underwhelming, but otherwise this was an excellent brunch spot. Highly recommend the hummus (which was topped with rich and delicious tahini) and the golden beets/feta spread (one of the best apps I’ve had in a long time). Also appreciated the selection of international beers and, of note, highly attentive wait staff. Big boi thumbz up for these homies. Check out the pics yo

Food is pretty good with lots of vegetarian and some vegan options. I really like the burekas but wish it is crispier. The haloumi cheese is a little too sweet from the honey on its own, but goes well with the pita and hummus. We try 2 different pitas, and the zahtar one is fluffier and has more seasoning, but I prefer the normal pita more. The shawarma plate is really good too. The restaurant week price is pretty reasonable, def give it a try.

We came here for Restaurant Week and it was a good decision. We had the kufta - very well balanced mint-heavy seasoning in a lamb meatball that was fried to almost the right amount of tenderness, and decent potatoes, almost patatas bravas style; the lamb shank with sour cherries - fantastically tender meat, which almost falls off the bone, just on the right side of too sweet, works very well with the very austere rice; and the knafeh, which I found just a tiny bit too one-dimensional, but with excellent phyllo; the roasted eggplants, which was another highlight of the menu, just the right amount of smokiness with a complex garnish, the beef kubeh with an inspired lime-infused pepper garnish, and a very decent baklava. Service was fast and our waiter was very kind. Like most New York City restaurants, the place can get a little loud. Recommended!
