Super delicious spot! Had the Sizzling Sisig, Khao Soi noodles, and the baby back ribs. The Sisig had great texture with the crispy bits of skin and the chew of rendered fat. It diminishes a bit when it cools down, so highly recommended to finish that off first. The Khao Soi noods had excellent flavor and the baby back ribs had this great tangy flavor that I think was from lime and fish sauce. If you're looking for a different style of ribs than southern style baby back ribs, these are really good! Service was very friendly and I will definitely come back!

Very good food and the staff accommodated my last minute changes for adding people. We had 6 and 2 more came and they were able to quickly find tables in the back and fit us all in. Food is incredibly tasty all over. Not sure there was a star dish but all very delicious. Large plates each can maybe feed two people and small plates can feed a few if each has just one bite. We ordered 3 with but as a group of 8 we would have needed to order 4 or 5 and 4 or 5 small plates. Drinks were very good. Highly recommend for a new type of filipino/asian cuisine thats out of the ordinary

The place is small but cute. We sat at the counter which faces the kitchen and it was fun to see all the action. The pork belly appetizer was phenomenal, the pork belly was so crispy and the sauce was flavorful. Khao soi was delicious, the curry was spicy and had such depth of flavor but I thought there was too much of the crunchy noodle and not enough of the cooked noodles. The steak was my least favorite, it had a really nice salt and pepper crust but some pieces had something like cartilage that was unpleasant to eat. The service was great!

The crispy skin on the bellychon was too hard and it scraped my gum. Otherwise food was delicious. Highlights were the pork jowl salad and Khao Soi noodle.

Pig and Khao is serving up Filipino-Thai-accented Southeast Asian fare in NYC. A unique fusion that I was eager to try so my party of 4 made a reservation for dinner. We were seated towards the front of the restaurant with a view into the kitchen. What we got: - Sweet and Sour Cilantro Soda - Sizzling Sisig - Chili Pan Mee - Khao Soi - Hainanese Duck - Coconut Rice - Jasmine Rice My Favs: - That coconut rice was AMAZING and a perfect pair to your sizzling sisig - The Hainanese Duck with duck fat rice Final Thoughts: If you're ordering the Chili Pan Mee, note that it is a peanut oil noodle so nuts can't be removed and though I didn't try it due to an allergy the rest of my party enjoyed it. The sisig was crispy and had a kick of spice that was paired well with the coconut rice. We've had better Khao Soi elsewhere as the portion size was on the smaller end with little soup and noodles. The duck rice was crispy and decadent.

Last week, my husband and I went to Pig and Khao. This was last minutes reservation. I thought he was able to make 6pm dinner, but turned out he didn't. So I changed to 645pm reservation. I showed up 30 minutes earlier because I thought I can sit at the bar and having a cocktail while waiting for 6:45 and reservation and my husband. When I arrived and realized that they don't have a typical bar, but I asked them anyway. The host offered to sit me at the table so I have a cocktail while waiting. Turned out I had two :) When my husband arrived, he wanted to sit at chef counter. So we asked, and they were able to accommodate us. We decided to go with restaurant week menu. That was so much delicious foods. We had to take some home because we couldn't finish them all at one seating. Here are the dishes that we had: -Pork Belly Adobo -Sizzling Sisig -Green Papaya Salad -Sinigang Shrimp -Isaan Steak -BBQ Baby Back Ribs -Coco Rice -Donuts with pandan custard -The second desert, I forgot the name We will definitely be back here soon.

I went here December 2021 and still recall it as an incredible meal. The flavors of every dish were worth pausing for. It was packed on a Saturday night for dinner, and every table is very close together so a group of 4 is the biggest i would suggest.

brunch is great! one of the servers mikey was so helpful and on it. We wanted something sweet for dessert and he made a couple suggestions just when we need them - the french toast was perfect!!

Modernized southeast asian food. Love the Sizzling Sisig, recommend eating it with the Coconut Rice, otherwise it might get salty. The Khao Soi & Halo Halo are average. This place is the most cramped I’ve dined in NYC, especially for 2 person seating. They had to move the tables just to let one of us in, and that person will pretty much be locked in for the whole meal. An accident happen while we were dining where a glass fell from the table beside us and got all over my feet because we were so close to each other. I hope the restaurant will truly consider the safety of customers when planning such a small table for multiple dishes that is said to be “shareable”
