Cute, casual, Cajun neighborhood restaurant. Huge portions of delicious food. Only suggestion is to add more thorough descriptions to the menu - my husband ordered the Seafood Platter but was not expecting everything to be fried. Definitely recommend.

Honestly would give this place a 10 if i could. They went completely out of their way all night, from opening back up for our party, to catering to our request, to just over all making us feel extremely welcome and special. They literally saved our night from another restaurant that took over an hour to get our appetizers. Thank you guys so much!

Very nice atmosphere. Service was great. We got the gator po-boys and gumbo. Maybe we didn’t get their best dishes but they were a 3/5. The bread pudding beignet was the best part of dinner. We absolutely loved it!

So we came in looking for the Crawfish Etoufee. Reviews said it was up there with the best of the best. Well it’s our last night in NOLA and etoufee we have not yet had. My gf isn’t a big fan but she doesn’t care for any sauce that starts as a roux. I ordered 1 for us to share. She put the first bite in her mouth and she said oh man that’s tasty. And she was right! The flavor is fantastic, the color of the sauce is on point, the crawfish was perfect. We were super impressed. She said best etoufee she’s ever had. She would order it again. I would say easily top 2 or 3 for me. I’ve tried several others in the area. I would come back here with zero hesitation. My only complaint is I wanted dirty rice not white and they wouldn’t do it. I would have paid more. I guess I should have said no rice and just ordered a side of dirty rice. I do agree with other reviews the rice portion compared to the giant bowl of etoufee is out of proportion. These are minor things. Truly enjoyed our dining.

The staff was super friendly and accomodating. We really enjoyed the food. The oysters were fantastic. I really liked the fried alligator but found the po'boy disappointing. The bread pudding beignets was one of the best things I've ever eaten

Fantastic dinner spot in the French quarter! We went here to try a variety of southern and Cajun dishes while in New Orleans. We had fried alligator, fried green tomatoes, and crawfish with grits. The fried dishes were gluten free since they only use cornmeal and there were a few other gluten free options on the menu as well! Everything was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a cool aesthetic as well so it makes the whole dining experience very nice. Highly recommend this spot- I do recommend making reservations though as it is a popular place to eat in the French quarter.

The food was really good. I think my dish really needed a piece of crusty bread with it since it was basically a thick soup. I got the Acadia crawfish and grits which I LOVED, but I felt like it needed a little something after I finished the grits. Our server was spread very thin and our soft drinks ran dry for most of the meal. He was working super hard but they really needed another server in there as the place was totally full. The kids really enjoyed their kids meals and my oldest daughter enjoyed her alligator oo boy and my husband enjoyed his jambalaya. One negative was that it was pretty pricey and they did add the 20% mandatory gratuity since we were a party of 7.

Atmosphere is so cool, especially outside in their courtyard. Staff are a treat. Friendly, fun and helpful. And then the food. OMG is their food fantastic! Their red beans and rice is the best I’ve ever had. And their deserts are heavenly! The gator, the okra, the crawfish and pickles… I’m making myself hungry again just thinking about it! Really, this place is remarkable.
