Perfect little spot in downtown Nashville. The atmosphere is cozy but not dark, located in an old building the brick walls are something you don't see much of anymore. Service is great, ordered the chicken marsala and loved it.

Pretty good. We're super Italian so it's hard to compare to NYC. However service was fast and very nice thank you. calamari was decent, kind of fishy but hey it's Nashville Tennessee not the Northeast. our server was very friendly which was nice, she's from the Ukraine. That pizza was good the chicken pasta was really good, the calzones were good too. The pasta dishes with the side chickens contain marinara sauce which is the sauce you get with mozzarella sticks not that homemade Italian sauce. Overall pretty good experience. Prices were reasonable.

Wife loved the chicken Greek salad and my chicken Alfredo was the best I've had in a long time. Service could have been slightly faster, but they were very busy. Worth the short wait.

Great spot if you want to get away from the bar scene downtown. I recommend this if you are looking for a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere while in Nashville.
The Chicken Parmesan was excellent! Large portion size at an average price.

Great little secret downtown. Excellent food and service. I love the lasagna. They have been steadily doing little things to improve their decor over the past couple of years. My server Inna is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet.

Stopped in after the 2018 July 4th Fireworks. A nice retreat for pizza and drink. Ashley, our server was very pleasant and efficient. Good thin crust NYC style pepperoni pizza.

I’ve only been here in groups of 4 or more, and my experience with servers has been positive the 4-5 times I’ve been here. Service was quick enough, although food took about 35 minutes the one time I was in a group of 8. The food is good, although a little salty. Portions are decent, neither too big nor small. The environment is decent. That said, last I checked this place is open till 3-4 am, so this joint is probably aiming for a less than sober late night crowd, and maybe the night crew is the source for a lot of the negative reviews on the service here. But I’ve only been during lunch and at that time the service was fine.

My husband and I found the Italian Kitchen on google maps and were glad we did. The service we received was great and friendly. They were more than willing to make sure we were happy with our meal. Our salads were very fresh and being Italian, we are kind of picky on our sauces. Both the red sauce and the Alfredo was very good. The garlic knots were just perfect and I took a canolli to go which turned out to be delicious. I also really liked the decor of the place.

My husband and I are from out of state, and ordered for our hotel room from Grubhub. We could not have been more pleased with the food. Portions were much larger than we expected, and everything was fantastic! The driver even called to let us know he would be little late due to traffic. Would definitely order from this restaurant again and will look it up the next time we come to Nashville.

Really a hidden gem in downtown Nashville! It doesnt look like much from the outside, but it is truly some of the best Italian food I have had. I suggest the "Taste of Italy" dinner, which is $21 and feeds 2 or a really hungry traveler! Note: We came at 7:30, so it may be busier earlier.
