Cream Centre

A place filled with nostalgia. For any person who grew up in the 90s, like me, this place is synonymous with our first taste of western food like nachos, onion rings etc. Went here after years on a trip to Mumbai and was surprised to see its new look and even serving alcohol! Luckily the food hasnt changed. I ordered the nachos loaded with cheese and strips of capsicum, onion rings served with chaat masala and of course the classic chana masala. Loved it all. The only not so good thing was the cold coffee which was a bit too diluted. In the end I also had to end my meal with the classic sizzling brownie sundae. Happy meal, happy memories. Servers are also the old school with our server Mohan Mahanty a chirpy and competent fellow.

Its located on the Marine drive exactly next to new Yorkers. The place is spacious and it has a ground floor and first floor. Since it was a match day, we had a waiting of half an hour but otherwise there would be less wait time. The service is quick and the food is decent. We tried nachos, potato corn BAO and the famous chhole bhature. The chhole was quite heavy on the tummy but the rest was good.. portions were less and the price was more but that's because it's a luxury restaurant.

My All time favourite since 2011, always amazing and bountiful experience whenever I visit Cream Centre Chowpatty..All their dishes are unique and delightful. I am particularly fond of paneer sizzler, onion rings and their golgappas. Parking is a hassle being near chowpatty and usually too crowded during rush hours. Biryani festival is going on here which is also a much recommended food here.. Highly recommended
