Pizza My Heart

How can you NOT try a place called Pizza My Heart. I mean, c’mon that’s cute. You know what’s cuter? The little slice pizza boxes that they come with. That’s how I want my pizza from now on, snugly fit in its own little house/coffin. I really like the inventiveness behind their Big and Little Sur pizzas. Green onion absolutely belongs on a pizza and I will take that to the grave. The crust? Pretty good. It just barely folds like a NYC style pizza, which is nice.

This place will forever hold a special place in my heart. The staff is amazing AM (Cynthia, Jose & the cook Pollo) & PM (Hiro, Daniela, Selvin cook) crew, I know there’s a lot of new faces around and some of the OGs from way back when. I remember always talking about a vegan pizza option when I worked there. After leaving the company, to hear that there’s now multiple vegan options available at almost all locations blows my mind. I had the vegan Mt. Diablo today via Doordash and it’s definitely one for the books!! The flavor is delightful and they chose one of the best cheese alternatives”Miyokos Cashew Cheese” so soooo good! Thank you to the staff and PMH crew behind the scenes for making this possible. Will be back soon to visit!

We ordered the Vegan Sur and really enjoyed the vegan cheese, vegan pepperoni, and vegan sausage crumbles. The slices were a bit too irregular in size (with some twice the size of others) but the pizza tasted good and will definitely be going again. The pre-built pizzas are much cheaper than the build-your-own options FYI.

The pizza is better than the other fast pizza joints that I have had in a while. They also have free ranch, something my new York sister would kill me for. They also have some great hot sauces available , something have never tried on pizza until I came here. Also for an an extra three $ you can upgrade to get a free t shirt, not really free when you think about it but still cheap. I was able to grab a child sized shirt for my son. A nice place for a fast food pizza joint. The slice was a bit too big and droopy so a fork an knife were needed to get to the more solid section.
