I am a big fan of Peruvian cuisine, and I was very happy to discover this restaurant in SJ. Previously, I would go to Philadelphia or NYC, but now I know this amazing place! Very cute and clean restaurant, wonderful owners from Lima. Food was freshly made to order and tasted delicious. Very good sized portions! My absolute favorite is ceviche and yuca frita with garlic sauce. I plan to be back soon to explore other delicious dishes from Peru.

Have been here a few times and we always have a great experience. The food is delicious and super fresh. The staff is friendly and respectful. I also like that they have specials and they write it down on the board when you first come in. Seems to be the only Peruvian restaurant around the area and I plan on coming plenty more times.

Feel kinda gipped. 3 stars for flavor. We ordered take out after hearing the reviews and to say our portions were small is an understatement. The flavor was great but barely any to enjoy.. The pernil was good but there was one small piece of it (mostly fat) and the rest was all rice. I paid for pork. Not rice. My husband’s quesadilla wasn’t even a quesadilla but a small burrito. Kinda f’d up for $35. We were so disappointed.. Do better..

Great little Peruvian spot. Go with the arroz con pollo, the chicken was good but the rice was a real winner. The veggies cooked in really gave each bite a nice pop of flavor. The lomo saltado was another delicious choice. The sauce could make anything taste great. Also if you’re looking for some heat, the green salsa is amazing.

My husband and I always love coming here for the authentic Peruvian food. Our go to is usually the Arroz Con Pollo. Our favorite sides are the fried platanos, tostones, and yuca fries. They also have delicious tres leches cake 🍰
