Pier 33

Twenty of us including children had a very long celebratory lunch at Pier 33. They were fantastic. When we booked they made sure the kids were catered for by giving us a table near tge outdoor area so the children could go outside and the adults could enjoy the lunch. The restaurant was spacious and the website does not do it justice, it is actually much nicer than the photos show. It is open and roomy and has a beautiful view, even on a rainy day! We had a banquet style meal and it was absolutely delicious, every dish was delicious, and we had a few foodies in our group! The service was very friendly and accommodating, we were very well looked after. It was a perfect day enjoyed by all adults , teenagers and children alike. Thank you Pier33 for making my birthday such a relaxing and perfect day.

Service was good despite them having to charge us twice because first one wasn’t correct. Food was well presented but tasted extremely average and could really be half the price as a few of our oysters were off, 1.2kg fish at $87 was just two fish fillets that wasn’t fresh and most likely only weighed 400grams together. Ample parking spaces. Beautiful interior decor. Worth visiting the one time.

Beautiful setting, food nice but not outstanding. Small plates as entree were good especially raw kingfish. Children's meals of pasta and fish and chips very good. Desserts very rich, maybe fruit salad or similar would be nice after heavy mains. Pleasant experience with good service. Water glasses topped up regularly and offer of more drinks timely.

The idea of a lovely lunch as a family to celebrate a milestone birthday, nice food, drink and laughs. This is what we had in mind and what we had conveyed when booking weeks in advance. This is not what transpired. The bar snacks that where on offer. (Apparently couldn’t order lunch) where nice. Thanks kitchen crew. The front of house staff and management where Nothing but rude and condescending. I have never been so poorly treated at a restaurant let alone somewhere that claims to hold a high standard. Without getting into everything, there’s a lot. I wouldn’t waste my time or money again going to pier 33. Lucky for sea restaurant up the road for making our day after pier 33 fell in a flop.
