YUM. Seriously good food and bursting with flavor. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was incredible. I got the hot BBQ sauce on the side but ended up pouring it all over the sandwich. It had the perfect spice to it ! I loved the seating out back right on the water. This place has a laid back "whole in the wall" vibe that I love and I can't wait to go back for more. Definitely my go to place after a dive.

Good Lord. I just had the pulled pork sandwich. It had bbq sauce, pineapple, pickles jalapeños, and the flesh of a demi-god. Probably the demigod of tastes only meant for immortal beings. I paired that with a draft Guinness, and if a comet were to come down and destroy myself and this planet, I would have died happy. I can seriously see wars fought over resources such as this. Seriously though, I honestly was not that hungry and thought that I was going to take a bite and save it for later. No such luck. This is the best meal I’ve had in quite a long time. I am glad that the pig wizard is using its magic for good.

Ok. We docked them 1 whole point for rude service. I get it, the pick up window has a small sign that says order on the other side… there is also a bigger sign that says BEER above the pick up window. We had already ordered food and wanted beer/beverages. I think most peoples brains go straight to beer and pick up window and think pick up beer at window. Right!? Anyways we went around to order beverages and no one served us. I enjoyed my sausage, it was warm not hot, and the bread was good. Family liked the pulled pork. Girlfriend thought the ciabatta was delicious, but the rosemary was a bit overpowering to the rest of the sandwich and didn’t like the gravy, it tasted like cardboard. Overall, we are usually underwhelmed by food in Monterrey… we gave them a not so generous 2.7. If the service was better 3.7.

Delicious food, reasonably priced (especially for the location/view) & everything is made in-house. We got the #1 and the porchetta dip. Both were delicious. Their house made kimchi is spot on- all the pickled veggies had great flavor and still had a good crunch- and the bread was so soft. The sausage and porchetta were not greasy, and the portions were just right. Great “hidden” gem in Monterey.
