Fresh Cafe

I ate lunch here with my wife today. She ordered the sweet burtato. It’s fresh Mexican toppings on a sweet potato. She loved it. Said it was one of the best things she has ever eaten. I ordered the cheeseburger with fries. The burger was good. The fries were average. The environment is clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. It’s a good option for those that want to try something different than a standard chain restaurant.

This nicely decorated, pristine cafe is a must go! We had breakfast yesterday. I had a ham and cheese omelet that was loaded with flavor and fresh fruit which was delicious. My friend had the sauage and biscuits with poached eggs and said it was better than restaurants down South. The owner greeted us and the service was great. You have to give this place a try. We want her to succeed!

All I can say is wow! I was greeted by a friendly gentleman that was more than happy to help me. I ordered unsweetened tea and it was fresh and tasted like loose leaf, early grey maybe. Had an amazing taste. I ordered the farmers omelette and it was made with real eggs, right in front of me. Food was delicious and prices were more than fair for what I received. Will definitely be coming back when I’m in Cincinnati again.

Excellent customer service. Delicious food! We told the owner I have an egg allergy and she gave me several eggless options she could make for me that were not on the menu. She was also very diligent about not having cross contamination. She made me an eggless pancake that was outstanding. Everything is made fresh and you can tell. I would absolutely give Fresh Cafe a try if you haven't yet!

It was our first time, so we got some variety. We loved EVERYTHING. She got a mushroom omelet with bacon. I got a red pepper almond chicken sandwich with red lentil soup. We got a cheese pie starter plate as well. Lots of variety, and fresh, tasty grub. Prices are great too. Service was very friendly, and they were quick to fix mistakes. A little on the slower side (12:30 Sunday morning, so pretty busy) but it's a relatively new small business, those sorts of things work out over time. But honestly, I'd wait 30 mins every day for food this good. Why are you still reading this? GO TRY IT

If I could give 4.5 stars then I would. This places is as advertised. The food is fresh and good. There is a definite Mediterranean flair to this place. If hummus and pitas are not your cup of tea then I would not pick this place. They do have America food but that selection is small. If you love fresh healthy food then you should love this place. I had to deduct a star because the service is not the fastest. Then again I don't expect fast in a fresh food, newly opened, family run business. I'm hoping they will work their kinks out in the speed department. I've had the lamb pita, Greek salad, and chicken patty (very flavorful!). Today I had the borscht which I thought was excellent! If you have an adventurous palate or want to eat healthy freshly made food, this is the place for you. If your go to is fast food, Fresh Cafe is probably not your cup of tea.

I got a lamb patty Mediterranean pita with Greek side salad and it was so good! The salad was fresh and had a good oil/vinegar/feta ratio. The lamb patty was surprisingly better then lamb meat for gyros. I got the cucumber drink with out sugar and it was still good. I want to try watermelon next time. The people are friendly and they were quick enough to eat on a lunch break. So grateful to have a healthy place to eat in Monroe for lunch!
