El Charro Loco

Good food. Service took a little while, but our server was very nice. Great presentation on large square plates. I had the lunch chimichanga with chicken and it was delicious. My husband had the lunch with one beef enchilada & one beef taco. It was very good too. You can pay at the table with a QR code, so that was handy. It was raining, but I bet it’s really nice to eat on their patio.

HUGE PORTIONS- and very good food. I ordered the "Lunch Fajitas" off the menu, and it would have been enough food for both of us. The menu has so many choices- something for everyone! The chips and salsa was complimentary ( and the salsa wasn't too spicy - just perfect). This restaurant isn't fancy, but the food is delicious, authentic and affordable.

Excellent traditional Mexican American food at a good price. The server was pleasant and explained the menu. Food was prepared quite quickly although this was lunch and not to busy. THEY HAVE TRES LECHE!!! Thank you. We all had the lunch fajitas and I thought that they would be smaller servings, but they were served on large hot plates. Vegetables were fresh. Will certainly be back on our next trip to Moab

I never write reviews but the vibe of El Charro Loco was so interesting that I couldn’t help myself. For starters when we arrived there was hardly anyone there except for a few people but it was 4:00pm and we also noticed that they were now serving asian food as well (sushi, ramen, bento bowls) which we found quite odd. As our experience progressed we were noticing how there was no music and then just at that moment music started playing but was interrupted by what sounded like the sound of someone playing a video game on their phone. Our food ended up being delicious (the guacamole had too many tomatoes) and the vegetarian enchiladas were very good. Overall good food but weird place. 3/5 stars

The portions are mahoosive! If we were at home rather than on a road trip, I probably would have taken half of the dinner home with me for lunch the next day. It's almost across from the La Quinta, so it is in a good location. Everything was hot and well-prepared. We'll be returning on our next Moab visit!

If you want authentic Mexican food go to El charro loco. The staff was super friendly and super fast. The molcajete was beautiful and the carne asada plate was the best (the only thing I would say is the salsa on the enchilada was fine but not a good as everything else), Flautas was true homemade salsa and was one of a kind. Huge portions and delicious, this place is slept on, 100% will be back.
