Definitely my favourite cafe in town! Very friendly staffs with warm atmosphere. I can tell that the owner treats every customer as his friend.
Try their coffee with cheese & mushroom jaffle as a starter.

I haven’t been back in a while as we moved house during the pandemic, but I miss the coffee! Always a great cup of coffee met with friendly faces and enthusiasm for coffee. Highly recommend, run by a family who work very hard to provide the community with quality coffee.

Love the coffee at Project Black! We have been visiting this cafe consistently for about four years and have found all the staff wonderful and friendly. The coffee and pastries are excellent. We rarely eat a full meal here as the kitchen is tiny which limits what can be offered on the menu - that is not their specialty. But if you are after coffee only, or coffee and a light snack, then I think this is the best place in Mitcham.

Egg and bacon roll that looks quite miserable which tasted dry and horrible that cost $6 and wayyy over priced coffee for what it was. $5.75 for a soy dirty chai. Will stick with DARK HORSE CAFE around the corner or any of the 4 others for that matter. Just low quality food that will leave you very disappointed. First and last time coming here. Would also like to recommend that management take on all feedback and try to improve on the quality of their food and prices rather than make excuses and blame the customer. You do work in customer service after all

Love this local family owned business. The service is great, staff greet their regulars by name and the coffee is consistently delicious. From the milk to the butter Angus uses only top quality ingredients in his coffee and food. Well worth a visit.

Always a delight to go here. Sorry that today they had coffee machine trouble I certainly missed my great coffee and brunch. Looking forward to next week when they are back. Really worth a visit. Love these guys!

Wonderful spot for coffee. Seriously, the coffee here is really good, Angus takes pride in making it a consistently delicious result, and is always getting in speciality blends for those who want something different. Awesome coffee spot.
