Jitterz Coffee Bar

I love Jitterz! Love the coffee, and the place. Have nothing to complain about the product. However, I was here with my family for a few hours so naturally after a a few hours we got up to re-order some of our drinks (mind you, we’re PAYING customers buying more coffee, that’s how much we enjoy their coffee). 2 of my family members got up to order different drinks and then I got up to ask for a cup of water. The worker was having a conversation with someone when he stopped to ask what I needed, I simply asked if they had water. He replies with “man you all need too much” in other words, “you all are needy”. His comment made me feel horrible. We are paying customers, didn’t expect to be treated like this. Just looks bad on customer service. Besides that, the drinks and coffee are very good.

First timer here! 🙋🏻‍♀️ The coffee was delicious. Strong & sweet. I got the iced caramel latte. This coffee shop is so lovely. Great atmosphere to study and read. The gentleman who helped me was nice, but I wouldn’t say it was the most incredible service I received, unlike other local coffee shops. My only advice to the owner is to emphasize working with their employees on customer service and being attentive to their customers, and not chit-chatting with other employees while customers are at the counter. Other than that, I would recommend their coffee and atmosphere.

Being more or a tea drinker, I did appreciate their unique selection of teas. Also tried the abuelita chocolate drink, which was a litter sweet but will probably make most drinkers feel right at home (or at grandma's house). We came all the way from Harlingen, so my only wish is that it could be closer. On a side note... Since we came all the way from Harlingen, I asked my buddies to pitch in for gas. They all contently agreed. But now, all but one of them have thrown in their share of the gas, and I don't know how to ask him to pay up. I'm not good with any kind of confrontation, so I'm considering just not being his friend anymore. Any advice?

Best coffee in town! Need I say more!?! Ok I will... Whether you’re looking for a place to have a creative meeting or just hang out with friends, or perhaps enjoy a good book, Jitterz is the spot. Jitterz always carries a selection of high-quality coffee beans which they roast in-house. Also, many of their syrups (if not all) are made in-house too. From their choice in coffee beans, to how they roast each batch, the ingredients they use, and how they prepare each drink, I love the attention each barista puts into their coffee craft. The Latte del Rey and the Campfire latte are definite fan favorites. I’m always good with an Espresso Tonic! Like cold brew? Be sure to ask about Brewmstick coffee! Also, be on the lookout for specialty drink menus with the changing seasons. Can’t wait to see what drinks they come up with next.
