Batches

This bakery shop earns a reputation of having the best cookies in Milwaukee; that is confetti sugar cookie. I went there, however, it was sold out and left me with a negative impression since I drove across states in order to get it. Apart from this, coffee is also delectable with a reasonable price.

An amazing bakery. Slightly out of the way from the rest of downtown, but well worth the trip. Everything you could want in freshly baked delights and more. They even have vegan options! The cold brew coffee is above average and the chocolate brownies are densely delightful. Other confectionery delights such as the chocolate chip cookies are equally noteworthy. I'd argue this is one of the best bakeries in the downtown area!

Believe it or not, I have been telling all of my clients about Batches and I am a personal trainer just around the corner! Yes, I have clients coming to me daily with goals of toning up and trimming down, however, I am an advocate for healthy eating that is not limited by strict diets or depriving yourself of the foods you love... and anyone who lives in Milwaukee knows how hard it is to stay in shape with so many delicious restaurants (Dan Dan) and tempting treats (Batches) that keep popping up and taking over! My boyfriend and I stopped by yesterday because I couldn't stop raving about the cornbread muffin with blackberry jalepeño jam (which is completely vegan btw) and he got what he thought was just a chocolate chip cookie (but it was totally vegan) & he has tried every chocolate cookie between here and NYC and he texted me later saying "that was the best cookie since the Maxie’s bourbon cookie" (which is his all-time favorite cookie in the city!) I know Batches has only been open for about a week now but just know it is here to stay and change the face of bakery in Milwaukee!
