Traveling from out of state and heard there is good Szechuan food in this area, so we did a Google search and found this restaurant and went to it, and it was AMAZING. We love Szechuan food, my personal favorite dish is always the boiled fish with numbing peppers and chili oil, and I was so happy they had it on the menu here! It was DELICIOUS. The wonton soup was also incredibly good. Really everything we ate was SO good. Also we were impressed that they had nice plastic kid cups for our toddler and 5 yr old, and they gave plastic eating utensils and paper plates for the kids too. Very practical and we appreciated it. Service was excellent, staff was helpful and friendly. Very clean restaurant. Highly recommend!!! Whenever we are back in this area we will return for sure.

During covid, we've been supporting local restaurants by ordering takeouts left and right. We ordered dishes from here, the lady was super nice and understanding, food wrapped safely. And the food we ordered were all delicious and very flavorful, super satisfying. Absolutely comeback for more.

I really enjoy spicy food and Spicy way hit the spot. I remember when Spicy Way opened and I bookmarked it but didn't have time to visit. We came for early dinner at 5:30PM. We were seated right away because they have many seating with clean spacious interior.
Our server Long and the other staff were all accommodating and very friendly.
We ordered the sauteed lamb with black pepper, the shredded potatoes with sour pickles, and the boiled fish in hot and spicy chilies oil. They were all so delicious. The seasoning was not too salty like some of the authentic Chinese restaurants I have tried. They have variety of dishes so we will be coming back to try more!

Food is good here if you like spicy foods. Do note that the dishes here are more like numb and spicy here as they use quite a lot of rattan pepper.
Decoration is pretty nice and they use peacock as their main theme. Service is friendly too.
However, they're definitely under staff'ed. We waited for almost an hour for our dishes to come (or maybe the waiter forgot to inform kitchen of our order). Another thing is the sun gets pretty harsh around sunset is you're sitting near West side.

Amazing presentation of authentic Chinese food. Bit of sichuan influence on the cuisine. I highly recommend the spicy chicken/potato dish and Chongqing noodle.

Nice authentic Hunan dishes. Have not tried their Sichuan food, so can comment on those. The dry beef slices appetizer is better than shown on the menu. The beef is sliced thin and sprinkled with coriander, peanuts, chilli and other spices. The tea smoked duck was fragrant and not dry. The steamed fish in pickled chilli is not as fresh tasting as in Changsha, but is fine by bay area standards.
Second time around, tried their Sichuan dishes and they are pretty good. The peppercorn is both visible to the eye and the taste bud. Overall, fulfills the promises of the shops name!

If you do miss the Szechuan spicy food, this one located near Fremont can solve your craving . The spicy and sour fish soup is great, fried spicy diced chicken can be saltier and spicier! The fried Long beans with minced pork in Szechuan spice can have stronger flavoured with salt or Ma Lao taste. Overall a good lunch place and clean environment.
