This is hands down the least fresh, most inedible sushi my wife and I have ever had. We’re throwing it away. The folks there I’m sure are perfectly nice, but my god, it’s the worst quality I’ve ever tasted. I’m throwing this away, I feel like it’s so bad I’m going to be sick.

Host/ server was super nice.
However, I am far from impressed. I felt discriminated (which is a card I hate to pull). But yo, but some seasoning in your chicken fried rice. It was not discussing (yes it was), but was farrrr from great. Never have I had such bland fried rice and was not even given soy sauce to counter the awful effects of eating plain rice with very few pieces of chicken. Also, if you are going to add tofu or seaweed to my miso soup then ADD some tofu and seaweed. DO NOT just give me scraps of what might have been there. I get not everyone likes heat or authentic Japanese spices in this area… but at least give them an option or warn them of flat flavors.
I will not be ordering from here again. Please take this as a critique to do better.
The more I eat this the more mad I get about the waste of money I spent thinking I was going to get good tasting food from a known corporation. Plus, YALL ARE FAR TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE FOOD AND FLAVORS I RECEIVED. ITS LAUGHABLE.

Subpar food, lackluster service, overpriced. Also, too many tables packed together in a small space, you will probably not ba able to have a private conversation with the rest of your party. On the other hand, you will hear about everyone's lives at the other tables.
Do not recommend.

Everything here is amazing. I mean, everything! This is our go-to sushi spot that I recommend to everyone! It's a BYOB so grab some sake from down the street at the Wine Rack and you're ready to go. And if you're on a date, definitely order the sushi boat for 2!

Food is great but it's a bit pricey. For example, bento boxes are about $16 (or less) in many other NJ/NYC spots, but here it's $25. Or a sushi boat of 18 pieces for $48. Small spot, cute ambience. They do not serve wine or beer, not even sake, which is a bit odd for a sushi 'restaurant' in an upscale town. For a small spot, they had about 7 chefs. This might explain the pricey factor.

A pretty good Chinese owned Japanese restaurant. Good quality sushi and sashimi.

Small place but would be worth waiting for if there was a list. I was able to walk right in on a Saturday night and got the only empty table. Staff was all very nice - ordered the slection I'm the attached photo (Sakura box I believe) and it was great. My girlfriend got steak & shrimp fried rice which was also very good. Will definitely be back.
