We had great dine in experience in the dim sum place. The dim sum are very authentic and the volumes are big enough for 4 pax to enjoy. (Aside from the egg tarts, which only serve 3 pieces in a dish/ per order) and the fish 魚腸粉(?), which is recommended by the waiter, is superb, but it might be too much for 4 pax with several dim sum to devour.

Expect a full house on Saturdays. Highly recommend you get there before 11a. Order from the menu and select your dishes then you can also flag down limited dim sum from the push carts. You have to be fairly assertive to get anything which is expected from larger Chinese restaurants such as this one. No soy sauce or chili on the table or other utensils so make sure you ask when the server comes the first time. Dim sum itself is solid but today's ha gao (shrimp dumplings) were over steamed which melted the wrappers. Siu mai (pork dumplings), chicken feet and salted fish fried rice were pretty good.

First, food is very mediocre. I do not recommend the Shanghai dumplings here. Staff is friendly but service is disorganized. We had 4 people but only got 3 place settings. It took forever to get another plate and utensils, soy sauce, etc. It also takes a long time to get food. There was only one steam cart and one dessert cart. We had to wait to flag someone down to order. You also have to wait a long time to pay and leave even though there are people waiting for tables. Probably understaffed but the food is no better this time than when I came before the pandemic.

Overpriced. Fried rice and noodle dishes are $18 and up. They even charge an extra 50 cents for a glass of water per person. This place is priced like Yak Sing in SF Embarcadero minus the decor and quality food. I do not recommend The Kitchen for dim sum due to the outrageous prices

There are quite a few choices for dim sum in this area. The Kitchen is consistently good. Service during our recent visit seems to be better than before. The waiter gave us a "heads up" about the mandatory service fee included on the bill. We appreciated the transparency which allowed us to tip additionally/appropriately for the service we received. My only minor gripe was that tea was $2 per person which feels a little excessive for the tea that was just mediocre.

This is a good place for our New Year dinner, Cantonese restaurant. Ordering in advance can save us waiting time, great! The serving size was average, and six of us basically completed nine dishes. The dishes taste good and the service is attentive. Recommended and worth visiting again. Give a like!

Recommended by local Cantonese friends. Best salt & pepper shrimp ever! Giant shrimp, perfectly cooked. Ribeye with scallions was tender and tasty. Classic beef chow fun. Chicken breast with king mushrooms was good but overshadowed by the beef & shrimp. Hot & sour soup was the only disappointment, sour but kinda flat, missing the savorieness of most versions I've had. Hot fruit soup for dessert. Ample poertions, reasonable prices. Service was very good, attentive but not intrusive, no language barrier. I'll be back again, and again, and again....
