Dairy Queen

Visit, Wait, Eat! This is a local/neighborhood place. Not in the best part of Mesquite by no means, however it's close to a major park and is nestled in a major road that links old Mesquite to Town East Mall. The major issue is the limited drive thru. It's so compact that when a line grows, you'll find your car in the middle of the road instead of the Dairy Queen property. That's another issue of concern due to the very long wait you'll endure. That's particularly true when the park has a lot of patrons, but even when there's little traffic, then are still just plain slow. Now to the food. It's fairly good. They honor the time tested Dairy Queen cuisine. The place is not as clean as I would prefer, but they are definitely not a health hazzard. I would say that if you're in the area and have a hunkering for their famous Blizzards or Chicken Fried Steak Fingers to give them a visit!

9:25 pm Just went and Bought 2 Burgers Combo # 1 and Combo # 4 1st time at the place well , we thought was kind of nice they place our food in boxes , well we got home just to find out my wife's burger had not meat , mine only 1 meat and both burger were cold , not wonder why the place on a box 😡 1st and last time ..

Went through the drive-thru today. I got 2 steak finger baskets and 3 Texas tacos. The steak fingers were half raw and half overdone! I’m seriously worried I may get sick from eating this today! All three tacos upon picking each one up to eat completely fell out the bottom, didn’t eat any of them just threw it away and half of each steak finger basket. THIS LOCATION IS HORRIBLE and should be SHUT DOWN for serving customers potentially dangerous undercooked food!!! I WILL NEVER BE BACK and definitely feel like I was robbed of the $22 I spent here today!!!!

Sad I had to rate this place with one star. Service was horrible, due to very short staffed. Food was very disappointing. The was one young man there who wasn't a team player. They only had 3 employees in the whole store. Food was cold. Sad day in the neighborhood. People waiting over 30 minutes for ice cream and meals. The manager, lead, supervisor was very overwhelmed. She was getting yelled at, and she did great trying to keep it all together. She needs a better supportive team to out in these type of situations. There is no "I" in TEAM: she should have to do it alone.

Wow! This team leader Jason was great he gave a great attitude that made me think he enjoyed is job and that made me have a great day also while promoting the food there even tho all I bought was a small new York royal and a small French fry with grave on top they made be feel welcome. And I don’t even live in Dallas I live 30 mins from waco! I’ll definitely come back for the great service!
