Mellow Mushroom Mesa

My family and I found this place while looking for dinner in the east valley. There was no wait time, we were sat immediately. We tried one of their seasonal cocktails and it was delicious! The waitress was very polite, attentive, friendly, and gave us great suggestions on food. We got a meat lovers pizza which was absolutely delicious, the crust was nice and crispy and it was not excessively greasy. We also tried their wings, hot and Thai sweet chili. The wings were ok, but they were super tiny. We also ordered the bruschetta and that was my absolute favorite!! If you’re looking to try a new pizza joint, mellow mushroom is a great option!

Went around lunch time and food did take quite a bit to receive but it’s understandable since it’s all being made fresh to order. The downside with my pizza was that it went extremely soggy to where I lost my appetite and saved it for home to put it in my toaster oven. Mellow Mushroom never disappoints me on consistent flavor however

Loved this place and First visit! Shared a half n half with husband. He wanted the Great White and I got just cheese. It was more New York style, they throw and make their own dough and you can definitely tell with the very first bite. The place is so unique and themed to fit its name. Service was great and pizza came out so quick! Would absolutely come again!

The pizza crust is great for a stone baked pizza, none of the crust was soggy and stayed crispy through the whole meal. Don't know if the crust was a whole wheat crust, but it had some of the texture of that. The outer crust had an airy outer layer and a dense inner layer. All the pizzas we got had lots of good flavors and plenty of toppings. For the ones we had that got the garlic aoli sauce on top, I wished the sauce was placed on with a thinner nozzle so it was more evenly spread out. My two favorite flavors I ate were the Pacific Rim and Holy Shiitake. Edit #1: Went back and had the Mighty Meat, Pacific Rim, Great White, and Holy Shiitake. I would now rank Great White over Pacific Rim, but the Shiitake pizza is still my favorite. All pizzas came out hot and crispy.

Absolutely an abundance of parking. From the time you approach the front and all throughout the inside it's all about this rad art work! There wasn't a wait to be seated for a lunch meal. The staff is super friendly and the food, the food! The food is so delicious. I highly recommend the mushroom onion pizza 17" is the perfect personal size. We totally loved the whole experience and will be back soon. Enjoy your experience!

I loved That they offer gluten-free pizza. I also love their bacon blue Lettuce wedge! So good! I ordered the veg-out pizza. I also loved the inside, it was cool. When we walked in, there was the happiest lady with purple hair! She was so sweet, made my day talking to her. Very festive!!! It was FREEZING inside the restaurant though. It is colder inside than outside in winter! :( so we didn't take our jackets off. But other than that the music was good, and the food was good. A little pricey, but I'm used to that because gluten-free food is more money regardless. Definitely will be back, but in the summer time probably 🤣
