Our go-to local sushi. Very good all-around. Not every sushi restaurant can be a Sushi Jiro or Nobu.
Yes, you can get better if you travel. Even without leaving the ground, or even Long Island. But they are a very good, satisfying, local sushi restaurant.

This is our family's favorite restaurant. We celebrate every occasion as well as just casual meals at Six Elements. Cindy and Tommy are the best, always welcoming and friendly and the entire staff goes out of their way to make sure your experience is a good one. The food is phenomenal - always fresh and beautifully presented. One complaint I have had about other sushi restaurants in the past is that the portion sizes were too small...not at Six Elements! We always go home stuffed with delicious food. The atmosphere is cool and inviting.

Excellent Japanese/Asian cuisine for the area. Service is very good. Meals came out quick and tables cleared quickly as well. Comfortable dining room. Overall a good experience. Recommended!

Had a quick lunch there and the service was really quick, lol. In 2 minutes after I ordered, the salad is ready and it’s very fresh as well as tasty. There was a lot of seaweed in my miso soup. I especially loved the beef stir-fried udon, delicious and the beef is super tender and full of flavor. Highly recommended!

My go to sushi spot in my hometown! I have been going here for many years. Cindy and her staff are awesome – personable and they always have great service. Their sushi is always fresh especially their sashimi which is hard to come across on the island. Highly recommend!

i came here like a few months ago when it was busy in the restaurant, when the food finally came the waiter apologized saying it was really busy which she didn’t have to because I understood. But the food there was really tasty and delicious! Definitely coming back next time when I visit long island

It was a pretty average place, but I've been to many places in the city and on Long Island so I suppose my expectations are a bit high. The miso soup and ginger-dressing salad tasted like any other average place, a bit pale in color and flavor but still good. The fish and rice were soft so that was great (I've been to places where that wasn't the case!), but for some reason the crabmeat tasted off (I seem to encounter this issue in many places in Merrick however). The interior is really nice looking and it's very spacious. My friend liked her shrimp tempura and my sweet potato tempura roll a lot, but was unhappy with the wait for our food considering we were the only ones there. I wouldn't come here again personally, but I know she would.

The food is spectacular! I crave for the adana kebab with the green rice. There are only a few kebab options (about 6), but every one of them is delicious, juicy, flavorful.
