Steak 'n Shake

They're decent but maybe avoid the drive thru if you can. At least until the upgrade the microphone and speakers. The person taking my order needed me to repeat myself about 5 times. Extremely frustrating but not the worst experience considering this is Memphis. At least they were polite, if not completely souless when picking up the order from the window.

Love going here for the under $4 dollar meals. The sandwiches they offer taste great, served fresh and hot, and a nice size for what you paid for. People with high blood pressure will enjoy these sandwiches as they are not as salty as other fast food places. By not adding a beverage, that helps with the cost staying under $4. I have beverages at the house so no need to get any from the restaurant or any fast food restaurant to be honest. If you need a beverage, get water because that's what you need anyway (lol). The string fries are a no for me but they are not bad, just not competing with the other fries being offered everywhere else.

Always a great place for ‘late night’ drive through service food in this part of Greater Memphis. Never extremely crowded, but can be difficult traffic getting in and out of the establishment. In saying that, the food is always consistent and delicious. Clean dining area and service that’s always smiling.
