It was plenty of good grub. It just took a good while to get in and be seated. The Holy Convocation was in town, and it seems that most of the congregants made their way to Chow Time!

They have good tasting soul food at reasonable prices. I recommend new seat cushions inside the booths. The table booths are worn & torn

Chow Time is a great place to dine and the food and desserts are very good and delicious. The only downside is they are very popular and some days it takes longer to be seated, but they attempt to seat you as quickly as possible.

Went to a church convention in Memphis tenn, afterwards we (a party of 7) drove to this restaurant after it was highly recommended by someone else. Enjoyed the chicken wings, fried catfish everything was fresh and hot,

Absolutely loved the food but it took too long to eat because the line was extremely long!
I think logistically something needs to happen so 2 lines can be formed. We were here for the Holy Convocation and the Saints were definitely "in this place"!!! I will definitely visit again 🤩

Excellent soul food. We loved the pig feet, fried fish, greens, cabbage, hot water cornbread along with other food items.

Very nice selection of food. I stuck with the soul food and everything I put on my plate was cooked perfectly and hot. Delicious lunch.

Food is great! Mashed potatoes tasted like instant boxed potatoes this time. There were no fried shrimp. Everything else I ate was delicious. I'll return.
