This place is the only place my wife can get gluten free fish'n'chips. The new Australian owners seem to have been on a steep learning curve. The first time we went there I would have rated it 1/5 (airey potato cakes, way overcooked fish, mediocre chips). However, 2 weeks ago the quality has completely turned around. Hopefully not a one off, but potato cakes were excellent, chips well cooked, fish bang on. My wife is extremely sensitive to gluten and had zero reactions. Will try again this week.

Worst fish n chips I have ever had. I ordered flake which was over cooked, no batter and I could hardly chew it. Potato cakes are just crispy air no potato at all, chips were burnt and dim sims not cooked and mushy. I called to complain they said they would change it for me but I refused because if they can't get it right the first time they won't going forward. This is the first and last time I go there

Used to be a great local fish & chip shop. Not any more! New owners who do NOT know how to cook fish & chips, and can barely speak English. Bad food and bad customer service. They have lost us as customers too. Sad, as good fish and chip places are getting very hard to find now. :-(

BEWARE! New owners claim they can do gluten free like the previous owners but I became very ill from eating there. Other food ordered from there was very ordinary. Zero customer service, such a shame as we liked going there.

Not even worth the one star.its worth nothing.tried for the forst tome tonight but wish i went hungry.3 quarters of chips were burnt. More air in the potato cakes than anything else.fish was burn with hardly any batter and whatever batter couldnt stay on fosh.threw most of it out cause i couldnt eat it. Dim sims were well under cooked and mushy.tastes raw. I hate to swear on internet but the word sh%# only comes to mind.nevwr again.

This was our place of choice. Then new owners came in. Just order dinner relatively early and still got cold pretty cooked stale fish that we couldn't eat. Have been going there for years. Not anymore.
