Was not my did eat here last few times the food here was disgusting but to my surprise they change their menu and apparently their cook the food was excellent we'll give it another try

Everyone locally knows this is the worst Bob Evans ever, we just don't have many restaurant options, especially for breakfast. The service is slow and bad, the silverware is dirty, and it takes FOREVER to get your food. I gave it 2 stars because the most recent time I was there (when my family decided to go yet again) none of our food was messed up, but it honestly is the worst. I really like the Bob Evans chain, so I wish someone would come in and overhaul this location to make it actually a decent place to go. But if you want Bob Evans and you are able to, I would suggest skipping this one and driving to Gallipolis instead.

This Thanksgiving visit was at the location in Mason WV. It's across the Ohio River from Pomeroy, in Meigs County OH. It's an out-of-the way spot, so there was less of a crowd. I got the Thanksgiving special meal with both turkey and ham. I'll be eating the leftovers for three days!
Even though the crowd was smaller, the line for carry-out was long. The table service was quite good.

We went to the Bob Evans in Mason today. We were there over an hour and a half. We ordered 5 things: French toast with bacon, dinner rolls, potato soup and a roasted turkey melt sandwich and drinks. The dinner rolls came 20 minutes later. After another 20 minutes the potato soup came and it was cold. 15 minutes later the French toast. Another 20 minutes later the bacon. Finally after 15 minutes a half turkey sandwich, instead of a whole, was brought out and it was prepared incorrectly. When the issue was brought to the manager’s attention, who was in the kitchen, her only comment was “I didn’t fix that order,”. Really? You won’t have to worry about fixing another order for me.

Waited 20 minutes to have our order taken then waited over 40 minutes to get our food. The restaurant was not busy. The waitress who apologized to us and got our food wasn't even our original waitress, our original waitress got us our drinks and took our order that was it. We had to take our food to go with us and my toast was toasted on one side and was not crispy at all. They've also smothered it in butter to the point where all I tasted was butter and I couldn't even eat it, the eggs were fine but my home fries were over done. They tasted burnt and I couldn't eat them. Worse experience ever usually I have a great experience everytime today was not one of them.
