Delicious meal on our way back to London yesterday. I had a lovely tender lamb shish and my 9 y.o. had a beef burger and said it was the best burger he’s ever had - haha!

We were greeted with smiles on arriving at this traditional village pub. We'd chosen Fancy B for a quick 'pitstop' on a Sunday lunchtime... The menu was extensive with choices of roast, a selection of burgers or Turkish mezze. We chose the mezze... Absolutely 'top notch'. We'll definitely be back when we're next on our way through Baydon. Superb!

I'm so happy we found this spot! The service was excellent. When I called to say we were running a little late due to traffic, they had no issues accommodating our booking.
We had never had Turkish food and decided to go with the sharing platter, which allows you to try a little bit of everything. It easily fed 2 adults and 1 child. The flavors were out of this world. We will definitely be going back!

It was our first visit and the food was good. Our meal (approximately £20 each) came with a flatbread which was a quarter of a tortilla wrap which became greasy as the meat sat on top hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, it was nice. The service was OK but didn't come and check through the meal if we wanted another drink or if our food was ok.
I would go again. Overall cost was about £60 with 2 and half beers and 2 meals which included 2 meat skewers

Fantastic Mediterranean food with high quality ingredients and quietly friendly service. The food was appreciated by adults and children (8 and 13). Kids menu available. The setting is great and there is indoor and outdoor seating. The lamb in our shish kebabs was perfectly cooked, very tender and succulent with a deliciously charred and smokey flavour. Desserts are amazing.

We went with friends for Sunday lunch and if you fancy something a little bit different then I'd highly recommend it.
Starters and mains have many tasty Turkish dishes, both hot and cold.
Mains were more accented to traditional Sunday roasts, although there were a few dishes, like vegetable moussaka that you wouldn't expect to see.
Desserts were again a mixture of traditional and Turkish.
All were excellent.
I could have happily had a mezze with different dishes from the hot and cold starters. Instead I had Saganaki with honey and sesame seeds to start, roast pork for main and baklava with walnuts and ice cream for dessert. Very good indeed.
There is an excellent range of beers and wines at sensible prices and their espresso martini was superb.
Service was lovely with all the staff being very friendly, helpful and attentive.
We really enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to going back to sample their normal main course which have a Turkish bias.

What a delicious breakfast we had here. Would highly recommend the breakfast rolls, waffles and sourdough. Coffee was great too, loads of choice. My daughter was well catered for with the childrens’ menu too. The whole place has been decorated beautifully and had a lovely atmosphere. Consider us regulars! Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Love some of the Turkish twists, and looking forward to a cocktail soon! Thank you!
