Delta Markham

This place is in bad need of a renovation... everything was clean and in good order, but finishes and furnishings are outdated and are rather ugly. The breakfast buffet was slightly less than comparable hotels, but it wasn't very good. Honestly, everything in the buffet could be found in the free breakfast offerings that most lower-tier business hotels (Hampton, Holiday Inn Express). Why am I paying for this? Staff were friendly and competent, and the Wi-Fi worked. 6/10

I stay here at least once a month on business. Super nice staff - like really really nice staff, the kind who remember your name and what you eat. Goes a long way to offset the weird showers and old CRT TVs in the rooms. Food in the restaurant is acceptable and improving each time I go - lots of fresh fruit in the AM and an extra cup of coffee is provided in a paper cup to take with you. I have tried all the other hotels in the area and keep coming back to my Delta.

I stayed there last year because I had previously stayed there on my honeymoon several years ago when it was a Radisson. The suite I got was dingy , old, and not to the standard of cleanliness I am used to in a hotel. I actually got pink-eye from that one night stay. Have never gone back. (I prefer another hotel in the area now when I go visit family) I wish there was a worse rating to give than Poor.

We booked in and told the staff we came to celebrate our 20th anniversary, about an hour later there was a knock on the door with a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberry's with a note wishing us a happy anniversary. The rooms are dated but comfortable, the price we paid its exactly as I suspected. I am very happy with the Delta Markham.

Expensive, no breakfast or dinner or anything included. Father in-law is in a wheelchair, and the only accessible washroom is in the lobby, I'm on the 10th floor.. A room service tray has been in the hall since we got here. Room is nice. That's about it. Not many workers speak English, so kinda hard to ask anything! No bags in garbage bins.. I'll be at Hilton next year.

HORRIBLE STAY...HORRIBLE STAFF...HORRIBLE SERVICE. They wanted a $500 preauth that they call standard (I've travelled worldwide and never seen more than $300 at the Hilton and in Rome). My card was preauth'd $200 and everything was still locked....even local calls. Lousy internet but you can pay $15/day for high speed wireless.lmao. Checkout I was lied to about a refund to my card and 6 days later it hasn't been applied...it's not the card company either, the hotel never refunded and still won't. I was treated like trash because I looked rough due to the fact that I was robbed the day of my stay, when I left the next day I was treated like a human because I cleaned up. Do not stay here, my last experience with Delta was 2 years ago and the experience was similar, but at least that hotel comp'd the stay. I'm not a whiner, my business wins "company of the month" often at Best Western and Holiday Inn, I just think ppl would want to enjoy their stay and this is not the place to spend money
