First time trying this place but definitely not the last!! Thank you to Dawn for her wonderful service and recommendations. We had a delicious lunch in their front patio. We ordered the Blackened Chicken Salad which was delightfully refreshing and many different flavours of a bit of jerk spice and creamy avocado to slight sweetness from the mango! We also ordered their wings, I must confess these were one of my top 5 wings I’ve ever had. Crispy and glazed with honey bbq. Heavenly goodness!! Also folks, there’s a big patio at the back that is busy and has music playing and it’s own bar. A must try!!👏👏

The Duchess of Markham was the perfect venue for a retirement get-together with 40 guests. The back yard patio is very welcoming and allowed the guests to mingle. The rain held off but with the large gazebo and lots of umbrellas you could probably enjoy the patio during a light rain. Even with 2 large reservations on the patio the staff took orders and got drinks and food served in a timely manner. Food was delicious. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Thank you for making our get-together a success. The Duchess is a great place to celebrate with friends and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

We walked in and no one acknowledged us. There was a man on the phone and a server walking up and down. She passed us about 6 times. My husband said "excuse me" 6 times to no avail. The guy on the phone was off of the phone and he definitely heard my husband but purposely ignored us. Not sure if it's a racial thing considering that each white person that came in and departed were greeted warmly. I hope the food makes it worth the trip. This is not to condemn the staff in any way. I see it as a training opportunity.

40 seater traditional pub. Wing night is half price wings. Poutine was decent, made with real gravy (not instant). Wings were served kind of cold for both me and my guest. Service was good. No veggie sticks and no option for blue cheese with the wings. Won't be returning. There are better wings out there.

I went in for wing night which is was the most sorry excuse for wings I’ve seen. I wanted to take the fries home and watched the waiter finger her way through my fries before packing them up. I asked about it and she said she was checking for hidden wings under my fries as you can’t take wings takeout on wing night. Pretty gross and I left the fries there. The main reason I’m giving a bad review is because they let terrible live music come in and blast music WAY too loud. They must be friends with the owners as they are clearly drunk and it makes the place unbearable. The one guy even turned off the hockey game so that people would “pay attention to the music”. If they got proper music in there it wouldn’t be as bad but listening to that garbage so loud you can’t hear after was too much for me.
