This was one of the coolest bars I’ve been too. Even though it was a cold night, they had plenty of heaters and the tepee was warm and cozy. The staff was nice and the drinks were strong! Would highly recommend for your trip to Marfa. It was one of the places that made the 6.5 hr drive from Austin worth it!

Great little place to hang out with friends and have a few drinks. Wine and cocktails available as is macro brews. No craft beer sadly. 2 levels of seating both covered and open air. Heat lamps for cool nights also available. Nice staff, well run place. Nifty vibe and casual chill feel to it. One of the most hoping spots we saw in town over 4 days. Fun times. Wish they have more craft beer is all.

Cute bar! Plenty of interesting places to sit and see. Grab a ranch water and meet some of the locals.

Of all the places I visited in town, Planet Marfa is the most aptly named and seemed to represent the flavor of the town in the most radiant and realistic light. There was Tejano music blaring as locals danced to the positive vibes, like a sonic expression of the smiley happiness that fans of Tejano appreciate. There was a dog sitting at the bar, like he'd been there more than once as regular. A beautiful and moody artist bartender zipped around, performing her hospitable magic, and scores of diverse thespians milled about, playing parlor games and getting wasted. God bless Planet Marfa 🙏

Great shaded patio area for relaxing on a hot day. Kids loved sitting in the bus. The food was overpriced ($4 for a plain hot dog?!), but that's probably representative of other restaurants' pricing in Marfa.

Worst bartenders I’ve ever witnessed. You’d think for such a popular spot on a Friday night they’d hire bartenders who can make more than 1 drink at a time. And maybe actually get the order right when they make it??? Huge, endless line of people trying to order and / or close out their tabs and the bartenders couldn’t keep up. I waited 35 minutes to receive a $10 well margarita and had to choke it down in 3 sips, it was so bad. Planet Marfa was recommended to me but I’m really wondering why. I do not recommend. No matter how aesthetic the space may be.

Funky spot with novelty spaces, fundamental drinks, and rotating cuisine options often prepared by locals celebrating their cultures. We were there on Moroccan Monday, chatted with friendly staff, and enjoyed the subterranean seating inside the teepee.

Excellent watering hole in Marfa. We visited in the afternoon on a Monday, and there was a great mix of fellow travelers and locals. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Great vibe
