A superb local shop filled with healthy goodies and local produces, run by cheerful people for more than 25 years, strongly recommend a visit, if you are in Manningtree.

A great asset to Manningtree. Refreshing to see a store with such a sustainable ethos offering healthy alternative to the junk that big conglomerates are feeding to us! Also offers you the opportunity to take containers to refill your staple foods (oats, museli, pasta etc).

Wonderful health food shop. Friendly & helpful staff. Great selection of dried goods. They Have multiple options for healthy non-rolled oats, including Pinhead Oats (aka Irish Oats, or Steel-Cut Oats) for making delicious porridge. They also have fancy nuts in the bulk bins at the back....The Almonds coated in Cinnamon-Sugar-Maple are devine ! Lots of good yummy stuff in this store.

I have recently moved to the area and adopted a plant based diet last year... All I can say is - what a gem this shop is!!! I have just eaten an Indian Pancake with a pot of Dhal and it was absolutely beautiful. A wonderfully talented lady making such authentic food... 10 times better than the over priced take away Indian restaurants in Manningtree. I can't fault it... Food is well worth the wait. The portion sizes are spot on for what you pay... Unlike Café Rio 👎 I've tried lots of local businesses in Manningtree, Lawford and Mistley, but this one is the best. Their shop of food, gifts, and staples are fab, stuff I can't even get in Tesco or co-op I can always find here ❤️ I love that this shop has survived the pandemic. If your thinking of going to The WholeFood Store, you won't be disappointed. 5*

Just a great place for whole foods. There's a great selection of Biona products along with some fresh produce too. Pricing is really competitive considering they are up against online beasts like Amazon. I'm definitely using them for all my healthy groceries going forward. PS, they also have some really nice chocolates...

This is such a great shop. So glad we have it on our high street. Has a very good range of good quality organic foods, stounground flours, pulses, spices, vegetables, sourdough bread, home made houmus (absolutely delicious), takeaway dhal from Lakshmi and lots more. Such a shame that the Cafe isn't opened currently due to Covid. I loved the home made salads and vegan dishes. I very much hope it will be back once the pandemic is over!

I have been using the shop occasionally for several years, but 2 years ago I started a vegan diet, so now go more regularly. They are friendly, have great products and will order stuff in if requested. They have been great during the Covid-19 lockdown, their prices are very good and it is a pleasure to shop there.

Absolutely love this cafe! The food is always really imaginative and creative, presented well and freshly made on the day. It’s always a chilled place to eat and I like to do my shopping in their lovely health shop. I went again at the weekend and had the tastiest Indian thali. It was so filling! I had coconut rice, daal, Chana masala, cabbage, a chapati AND a popadom, AND a sweet thing! You definitely get your monies worth! There were gorgeous salads too that I can’t wait to try next week. Can’t wait to go back!
