Rounders

Basic bar food. The spicy chicken sandwich was a simple frozen chicken patty warmed up, covered with cheese and hot sauce on a cheap bun. The waffle fries were fresh. The artichoke chicken sandwich was a small chicken breast cut in half on an oversized hoagie bun. The dip was dull and kind of tasteless. Like I said, basic bar food. 2-1 drink special is a bonus if you're drinking!

I went in for lunch on 3/23/2022 after a work meeting by myself. There were only 2 or 3 customers in Rounders at that time, plus staff. When I sat in the booth I had what appeared to be an intoxicated male that was seated at the bar come and sit it the booth with me. It took a little bit to get him to leave, but he finally left. Very unexpected and uncomfortable. Not sure if I'll come back.

Stopped in here last night before a hockey game. Had high hopes as it was a large open bar, with nice big high-tables and lots of TVs. Took about 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the wait staff. No big deal - happens all the time. I understand the staff shortages. Anyway, finally we gave our order and were pleasantly surprised it was happy hour, and 2-for-1 beers. Nice. Good selection of beer, which included local beer from Mankato Brewing. Ordered up a Mad Butcher and the beers came in plastic cups, like the kind high school kids get for keggers out in the woods. Beer was cold for about 30 seconds then assumed room temperature. For food, the waiter recommended wings, which we tried and they tasted pretty good. The only issue is they were cold, really cold like they were sitting for about 15 minutes. The icing on the cake was that i had to come back, after I realized I had forgotten my gloves on the table. I asked the bartender if anyone turned them in. His reply was "I don't know, I just got here." Then he continued to chat it up with the two gals bellied up at the bar. So I walked 15 feet and saw them sitting on the end of the bar. Not his fault I left my gloves behind, but dude could've been a little more helpful. Bye Rounders.

Absolutely love the food here, but our most recent experience was a real downer. We waited up front for a few minutes and were then told to seat ourselves. No problem. We then chose a booth and waited, unspoken to, for 17 minutes before we finally decided to leave. Update/Edit: The owner has made this right, and the food is still top-notch!
