China Buffet

The food was ok. The bathrooms are disgusting, the upkeep of the restaurant is in horrible condition. Although they did keep up on the removal of used plates and refilled drinks. My son was charged full price of an adult for 5 pieces of jello and 1 lemonade. Not a place I would recommend. The variety of food was exceptional, but a lot of it was overcooked.

Went here for the first time today. Food was allright. Not too impressed with the limited selection that they have. Place looks a bit run down. One of the bathroom stalls had toilet paper on the floor. Was told that the men's room had cleaning supplies on the floor. Isn't that a safety violation? Surprised this joint hasn't shut their doors yet due to the health and safety violations I saw. Health Inspectors need to do a better job looking at places like this. Golden Chopstick Buffet in Sheboygan is better. Will not return to Hong Kong Buffet.

Let me start by saying that my favorite food is asain food and I eat at many asain restaurants but this was a first ever in my 44yrs of life!!!! My friend and I went here for lunch and when I say the worse food and soda I have ever had. I mean it. The soda taste like mildew. Like the machine had never been cleaned on the inside. The sushi taste like it was bought from the froozen food isle at the grocery store. Some food on the buffet was burnt and majority of it had a nasty medicine taste to it. I will never step foot in this establishment again!!!! My friend told me after the fact that she had been here before and complained to the lady because she wsked for a new soda. Instead of them not charging her they charged her for 2 sodas. My friend said the soda tasted the exact same when she came before the lady that worked there put my friend out of the restaurant instead of trying to resolve the problem So consumers beware!!!!!

Great selection. Food is better than most Hong Kong buffets I've been to. Prices have gone up over the years though to the point where it's painful to come here. Should be $8 for lunches on weekends like they use to be when they were on Jay St. Edit: Food Quality has gone down. Won't be back. Edit2: I went back quite some time later and the food was delicious and warm. It’s getting better here which I’m glad. The staff works very hard here. 4 stars.
