Alex's bakery made the most amazing Barbie cake for Sadie & Scarlet's joint 21st! It was a 4 tier masterpiece!! Not only did it look incredible, but it tasted AMAZING! We went for biscoff layers and vanilla and strawberry layers, it was so delicious! Furthermore the delivery to the venue was nice and early - and the team were super professional all round! a lovely little independent bakery, everything sweet is baked just down the road by Alex and her team! they do brunch in house too, sandwiches and soups are incredible, i had the leek and potato. it’s the perfect place for those that like ‘something sweet’ after a meal, nowhere else quite like it 🧁

Had the Classic Sandwich, chocolate rocky road and strawberry iced tea. Everything was so tasty, served quickly, staff were really nice, and loved the aesthetic and atmosphere! Perfect treat on my day off! Definitely coming here again, and recommending it to folks! Thank you!

Love this place! Great cakes!
We popped in for a brew once and now it's our go to place when we visit Manchester.
I always find the choice in Manchester overwhelming so we stick to what we love.
They have a huge selection of Muffins and cakes.
They do a fab Meal deal which includes selected sandwiches, a drink and cupcake. All for less than £10.
They have a nice outdoor seating area which is lovely on a sunny day!
Highly recommended for somewhere to go for a nice value for money lunch!!!!

We have ordered cakes in the past from alex bakery and they have always gone down well. The flavour is nice, not overly sweet or dry. No glitches, straight forward to order on the website and easy to collect from in store.

4th time ordering from Alex’s bakery for a birthday cake and every time I order it’s always as tasty and beautifully decorated. Never a disappointment, as a baker myself (on maternity) it’s the bakery I recommend my customers to order from. Alex is lovely and so is the staff.

Fresh, moist, delicious. Served with a smile. Ample strong coffee just like I like it. What a great little find this is. I was looking at £15 burgers locally and ended up with a divine slice of generous cake and drink for £5.65. OAP on a budget❣️COME HERE… I command it! (Tasty looking toasted sannies too)

10/10! Ordered the most beautiful birthday cake from Alex and the team. Can’t wait to order again for another special occasion. Very helpful and quick communication, which was necessary for me as I had some challenges placing the order and paying from abroad.

Best cake I've ever had, and the slices were huge! They gave me a box and bag to take the rest of it home with me. The place is quite small inside, but it gives a nice atmosphere. There's also outdoor seating out back.

Absolutely delicious brownies - that we got on two good to go (so there’s no food waste and it’s an absolute steal) the brownies were amazing and the staff were so lovely. The lovely woman serving me let me choose the brownie for the box too which was so lovely of her. The cafe is so quirky and lovely and I definitely recommend popping in if you’re in Manchester- deansgate❤️
