Staff are always efficient and unfalteringly friendly. Coffee is good and food is tasty. Location is good if you need to catch the bus or train afterward. They've recently upped the prices so not too sure on the value for money on a couple of the items. Chocolate bread and butter pudding is worth a punt!

On business in Manchester and not knowing the area...just popped in for a tasty plate of pasta and some salad. Lovely experience...which can be hard for a solo diner. Very friendly staff and super food. Great atmosphere too. Recommended.

Great restaurant. We called in for an early dinner en-route from the Marriott to the O2 Ritz. Food was very good. Excellent value for money. Service very attentive and friendly. For casual dining with a touch of class this is the place to go.

Great service and the food was good on the set menu although the chicken for the main was a little bland. The quick service and friendly staff made up for it though. Beautiful building and very close to the Manchester Opera House perfect for a reasonable pre theatre meal 🥂🎭

(Detailed review below) Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambiance ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Accessibility ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cost ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Summary ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stopped here looking for a light snack; coffee and cakes. Ended up with a nice latte and a passion fruit meringue. The coffee is great; smooth, not bitter/sour. The meringue was nice too. A bit sharper (due to the passion fruit cream) than I expected but it was a nice, light and refreshing dessert. The decor inside is airy, spacious and lovely. It's between casual and smart. The main entrance is accessible by wheelchair whilst the back is not (a few steps are in the way). There's also a nice outdoor area too with umbrellas to keep the sun off. It was a quiet day, so service was quick. Staff was pleasant although my original order of affogado ended up as a latte (I didn't mention the error as I was fine with the latte). Definitely worth the stop and am definitely tempted to drop by for a proper meal.

Very tasty food, kids eat for a £1 (check their website for offers). Service was good, despite being swamped from the theatre kick out, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The kids menu includes a starter of fresh celery, carrot and cucumber sticks with a lovely tomato based sauce and a drink (the apple juice is gorgeous). The Veganesca Spaghetti is really good, with Capers, Sultanas, Hazelnuts, Black Olives with Al dente pasta.

Came here for an evening meal with the family and was not disappointed. Dominic, our server, surprised us with his knowledge of the menu. We took his recommendations and I must say that my boar soup was delicious. It was something new and interesting. Thanks, would come again.

Good, decent ingredients especially considering this is a chain. We had the sharing Grandioso platter and it was good. More attention to detail would have been better as a few of the portions were in 3 rather than 4 but the quality was good. Coffees were decent though a tad lukewarm and a biscuit wouldn't have hurt. But hey ho! For 50 quid for 2 with a full (good) bottle of wine what do you expect. Wouldn't get out of my way to find a Carluccio but would have lunch there again if the occasion arose.

I love this restaurant chain, the food is fresh, tasty and cooked well, staff are professional and friendly, venues are clean, calm and peaceful. Vegan choices are also detailed on the menu. Truly delicious; the best Italian food around in my opinion ❤️
