Had got home and didn't fancy cooking, looked up fish ans chip shops remembered cornfords and was happy it was open, ordered online went to pick it up and the lady that served me apologized and said they didn't have the pie I had ordered and would I mind having a different one, I said no that's fine and went with the chicken and mushroom one instead, food was hot and well worth the money I paid it really hit the spot we definitely will be back.

Ordered a small cod and chips today. Fish was cooked to order but only took about 6mins which is more than acceptable. Chips were well cooked and the fish tasted great, nice crispy batter. Thank you.

If you live locally then you've probably been here, and if you've been recently you may have even complained about the price rise but I for one understand that the location of peneden heath is getting harder to sustain local businesses thanks to a sense of gentrification and the suburban roads not being built to handle the amount of new builds and major businesses appearing in the area and that's without the economic situation of the UK. And its not even that much of an increase (3.50 to 4.60 sort of case)
Tldr: if you're ever in the area this is a brilliant place to try. Chips are smashing

Had a chippy lunch with the family. Good was very good but seemed to take a very long time (maybe the chips had only gone in when I walked in, not sure). staff were friendly and seemed like a good local place where everyone knew each other. I didn't have fish but the chips were excellent.

Chips a bit on the dear side at £3.50 for a reg portion. But you get a reasonable amount. Taste was ok. Been 2 nights on trot so far will prob make it 4.

Lovely place. Food always hot and fresh. Staff wonderful. The prices are reasonable too, very competitive. If you eat from there ypu won't be disappointed. There's so much choice and variety. It's a really nice place.

I walked in and ordered a large & medium cod with chips and 2 children sausage and chips. It was just over £20. All meals were individually wrapped and beautifully cooked. Didn't have to wait too long.
They now offer a local delivery service.
