Chicken Express

I’m not much of a fast food girl, but Chicken Express has a special place in my heart. It’s not only cheap, but the corn nuggets and fried okra are the best around. The corn nuggets are so sweet and tasty that I just can’t get enough. It’s now one of my favorite foods and my go-to fast food joint. I’d like to go more than I’ll admit, but I would pack on the pounds fast haha! The service is usually good, too.

Just watched a worker at this location pick up chicken with his bare hands and place it in someone’s container so be careful if you eat here you may be eating someone‘s germs 😷 🤒🤢🤮🤮🤮 And it wasn’t thrown away. It was put in someone’s container with gravy. Watched him pick up about 5 or so chicken tenders. I’ve been a long time customer. But after seeing that, I won’t be coming to a place that lets their employees use their bare hands on food.

We went to chicken express today and i’d like to say that our experience wasn’t the best. First we came in and ordered 2 #2 combo meals and the employee rang up a #1 and #2 combos and gave my boyfriend the wrong meal. Second, we saw a female employee in the back handling the food without a hairnet. My boyfriend then found TWO pieces of hair in two of his chicken strips. I included a picture of them. The other chicken strips were okay and the sides were good, we were just very grossed out about the hair. Please wear your hairnets!!!

Hot wings is the only reason for 3 stars. We're asked to support our local businesses, but as you can see, how could we support this kind of quality? Money is tight now. We could have gotten half a week of groceries for what we spent. Wife said are you sure you want to go there. I told her that this is the last time to try one of the chicken express. Well they have sealed their fate with me. No more. We were there when they first opened up in BC, TX. They started out with great food, but since they opened more locations they're more about money than quality. What a shame.
