It's a nice place. Beautiful setting next to the castle. Interesting and inviting menu, well cooked with fresh ingredients. Relaxed but friendly service. Recommended.

This is a really lovely place to eat and drink. Very tasty food and beautiful views of Ludlow Castle from the indoors and outdoors seating areas. Good choices on the menu, plus very good on vegan/vegetarian options for those with allergen requirements.

My family and I were seated in our own private room to allow for us to have some space and for our dog to be comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent visit and were really kind and attentive. I ordered the soup which was really tasty and there was a great selection of cakes. The atmosphere was really relaxing and peaceful especially in our own little room - I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Ludlow Castle to stop off here for some lunch or tea/coffee.

A fantastic place to visit for a meal or light snack whilst in the area. I have visited a few times over the years and it is usually my go to place for refreshments while in the area. The atmosphere is excellent and you really feel like you are in the comfort of your own home thanks to the layout and decour. Excellent value for money with a good menu. I would highly recommend.

The kind lady placed us in a room next to the window, as wasps were enjoying the outside seating at 3:30pm. The spiced apple cake was delicious & the Swiss roll eaten with a smile! Beautiful place, the old stove, 2nd room had a beautiful wood mantlepiece.

I enjoyed a truly spectacular cucumber salad here. It doesn't sound all that appetising does it, but it was amazing. I'd happily have it again.
The coffee is good too.

Had a beautiful meal today, with my parents.
We had pork belly and the bacon, lentils and cauliflower, finished with apple slice and scones.
The pork belly was fantastic, healthy portion sizes (as opposed to the “larger than life” portions I’ve noticed in England) really nice balanced flavours and textures, and the staff were so nice despite being run off their feet, due to the recent festival.
I would come back here in a heartbeat.

We only had tea and cake here, but the breakfasts looked amazing. On a return visit we would love to sample those. My husband uses a mobility scooter, and he could access the rooms with ease. Do try the apricot flapjack - it was very tasty

The soup of the day is absolutely delightable! The soup is very buttery and smooth. The fish cake is also delicious! We also ordered kids pasta, freshly hand made!
