It'll Do Deli

To be honest, I've always avoided this place because of its name. It'll do? Well, that was judgy and wholly inaccurate. After listening to my fellow nurses go on and on about this place, I drove there immediately after work. It's quaint, small, and you can watch them do their magic while you wait at a table. I ordered the house and oh my gosh was it so amazing. I never knew a sandwich (panini) could bestow such amazing flavor and complexity in each bite. I also ordered the pup, stuffed pepper. It was good, but I'll have to try more. Something tells me the chicken salad stuffed pepper may have been a better choice, but I'm more than willing to continue visiting this place in order to find out. I highly recommend this one.

It’ll Do is a fantastic lunch experience. (It’s not a diner experience because they don’t do diner) I’m a 12 year customer and I’ve never been disappointed. 20 different hot paninis and the soup of the day is a great compliment. And absolutely the BEST milkshake in Longview. Handmade shakes made from handmade ice cream. Different flavors daily. Dine in, dine outside, drive through, and call ahead for pickup.

Gave three stars because what a cute little place . I was disappointed with the 4 sandwiches I bought not because it was bad but because I was craving a cold Turkey sandwich with avocado . I I didn’t know their sandwiches were hot . On menu says cold or panini . I didn’t know you had to request it cold ! Most places you have to request it hot ! So went home kids would not touch it because it was hot with avocado .Seriously only takes a second to say would you like that hot ? So now I have sandwiches that have yucky hot avocado on it ! Who eats hot avocado ? Anyways don’t assume you will get customer help here if your a first time customer , we certainly did not ! Because of the Bible stuff I gave them 3 stars who Doesn't love Jesus !!!?? Update….Might I add change your name to something that supports the items you sale ? When does deli have to do with grilled sandwiches ? When I think of deli I think of cold cuts I don’t think of hot sandwiches ? Yes I looked on your menu online I seen hot or cold . Another idea ! When someone tells you this is there first time here , maybe explain the sandwiches are served hot only ? Just can’t assume people are going to read your whole story and menu . Now I didn’t say your place was bad I said customer service was to not there to explain how your name does not add up to what you sell . I thank you for your reply but not every customer will be a local, I just moved here . I searched cold sandwiches your deli came up so…..Deli !! Which means … food typically sold at a delicatessen, as cold cuts, salads, and pickles.

What a great little deli! They have a great selection and a very impressive menu that was even thoughtful for vegetarians as well. The brisket is homemade and really good and the potato soup was top notch and seemed to be homemade. I would recommend this place 100% based on the full selection of the menu, cleanliness and overall courtesy of the owners.
