Hooters

We love this place. The price for crab is exactly the same as Safeway. Buffalo shrimp on happy hour is a great deal. Also raw oysters. If you like that kind of thing, this is the best deal in town. Amazing really when you think about it. When you go to a place like this, you kind of expect to be financially abused a little. You're being served by an insanely attractive woman after all. Actually in the case of hooters, you get a better deal than any number of places around here. If you want to eat things like shrimp, oysters and crab, don't even think about anywhere but hooters.

It was... Hooters. Does anybody else remember when the wings were big, and majestic, and you felt like you were going to pop? If so, don't go there anymore. I've had better wings of the same size/quality... just about everywhere in the city. The bartender was nice. The beer was wet. Nothing was terrible, hence the 3 stars, but I'm spending my money elsewhere moving forward.

As I sit here waiting for my food, I can’t help but notice the hard work the server Shelby has been putting in. My husband and I spotted that she was tending bar but saw the slack from most her fellow waitresses so she left her post to clean tables, run drinks and assist patrons needing things. While I will say the service has been terrible and we saw our appetizer be delivered to another table with no acknowledgement, I will give it 5 stars for Shelby’s sake. Girl, you rock and it has not gone unnoticed.

Food quality is lacking. I believe that this place has the ability to be pretty good. I used to enjoy Hooters. We ordered two orders of mozzarella sticks and most were empty. The breading/seasoning was actually some of the best I've had on a mozzarella stick. Very crunchy and flavorful. But there was no cheese! I'd say 10/12 were like this. For the price, that's not good. Please fix the cheese sticks. Wings weren't bad though. A little small, but the seasoning made up for it.

The wings were much better than the previous time that we had been here. There was a misunderstanding about the game Day promotion, that we were sent an email earlier that Sunday, before the Super Bowl, however the manager honored it. We will visit again when in this area, since it is not nearby our home. Thank you.

The two drinks I pushed to the edge of the table in photo were because they were terrible. Yes, the beer too! It tasted like flavorless bubbles and the manager decided to taste it himself so he could tell me it was fine and only argue and still remove the brown bubbled beverage from my bill anyway. He wanted to argue and all I wanted was have a drink and wings. Lauren the server was extremely sweet. Unfortunately, I never got the managers name when he addressed my issue. Such poor customer service, he even kicked out an older gentlemen to top it off. Order take out and save yourself.
