Placed a large order for the office for the next morning - no quibbles or fuss and produced the food bang on time for collection. Really tasty bacon sandwiches went down a storm in the office. Thanks to the team at The Upper Crust!

Simply brilliant, old skool café in the city. Not many of these left. Beats all the fancy coffee shops and cafes every single time. Been going here for years and the selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and other hot/cold food is great, with very reasonable prices. They only have a few seats, but somehow always have space, even at peak lunchtimes. Service is also very quick to help maximise a relaxing lunchtime. Highly recommended.

Made for you while you watch. Eat in or carry out. Narrow shop but staff helpful. Choose before you stand at the counter because workers queueing for their rapid service. Sarnie. Hot meal to eat in. Drinks. Been there for YEARS keep going there to keep it open. Valuable to traveller, worker and tourists.

Top spot for breakfast & lunch! Excellent filter coffee - strong & smooth! The food is always delicious & reasonably priced. My bagel with smoked salmon & cream cheese was amazingly tasty. And their jacket potatoes were huge & perfectly made! Quick & efficient service. Most customers seem to prefer a take away option, but limited seating is available inside.
