Pollo Tropical

This cannot be a corporate location because it's just always ghetto. They never have anything in stock, employees are rude and act as if they are working out of their home kitchen. They always turn off the drive thru lights as if they're closed so that paying customers won't interrupt their watering hole huddle. I had to drive up to the window just to see employers huddled having personal conversation and now giving me attitude for interrupting. I wanted a bowl and they claimed all they had left was rice beans and corn.... I asked for fries with no salt and received the bottom of the bag fries SOAKED in grease....i ordered a quarter chicken meal and got a piece of chicken back! This location is a joke and a disgrace to the brand in all they need to do a better job I'm selecting employees because no one begged you to take this position.

AVOID THIS LOCATION!!! This is by far the worst Pollo Tropical in the Fort Lauderdale area. First off, the customer service here is beyond ridiculous. Im pretty sure orientation here consist of nothing about customer service training. Not all, but majority of the employees here are beyond rude including ever manager working there, day shift and night shift. I understand there is a shortage of hard working dedicated employees right now but kindly remember the people coming here deserve proper customer service or else this store wouldn't maintain business. We need the employees however business need the customers! When I kindly asked them to replace the first piece of awful chicken that was given to me, it was then replace with another horrible piece of chicken. This location needs a major evaluation upgrade. Lesson learned after this experience. Pollo do better!

I gave them 3 stars because the food is really good, and it is pretty affordable. We do drive-thru at lease 2-4x a month for dinner, EVERY single time i get my order, there is ALWAYS 1 or 2 things missing. I dont want to be rude and hold up the line, so i just will park somewhere to check everything is there and of course every time something is missing. I think the managers/owners/employees should go to Chik Fil A, and see their process, because NEVER are we missing anything from our orders, and we also do the drive thru at least 3x a month. Also MOST, not all the employees, everything is just done with attitude. And what just got to me to write the review, is a few days ago late night, we were hungry, so Googled time they close was 11pm, we arrived about 10:15pm of course is was closed NOT COOL!!!

Burnt cookies . Didn’t follow any directions at all. Asked for no onion gave onion. Kids meal bowl had nothing but dry chicken and stale rice. No sauces. Super ghetto services. My child literally threw up from his food! Tropichop was dry didn’t follow directions sloppy . Disgusting place needs to be shut down !!!

We ordered well done chicken with yellow rice, avacado, plantains, on the side. The box looked as if something was actually in it. When we got home and opened the box...omg we had to throw away the avacado, it looked nothing like what they advertised, the rice was less than a cup and the chicken looked undesirable. Sorry Pollo Tropical I was not impressed at all. Not every meal is like that. Anyone planning to go there will be better off buying a different meal or make sure that you see inside the box before you leave the store.

The original family meal was terrible, only got chicken breast's and wings. They barely had meat and the taste even thought I paid extra for white meat was awful. Bags were all ripped and everything was left all over the place. I had requested plates and utensils for 10 guests and only got 3 utensils. Also asked for the order to be dropped off at the pool and instructions were not followed, they eventually left them in the apartment. I am extremely disappointed of the quality and service here!

Worst employee attitude EVER. Employee forgot to put in one bowl order in the bag when I came through drive thru. I checked the bag and seen food missing. I go inside and tell drive thru that hey you forgot something and her response is they don't pay me enough to double check. Its your responsibility to check that you got all your food. Yeah and you guys want $15 + an hour for this service. Nope I will definitely won't be voting for that law to pass.
