One of the better sushi spots we’ve tried in Marin. All of the fish tasted super fresh. Pot stickers were really good. Rolls were simple but high quality. Some were 6 pieces and others were 8 which doesn’t say on the menu. Service was a bit lacking- our waitress would drop plates off without saying anything to us and seemed annoyed when we wanted to order more rolls. Sat inside on a cold day and it was quite chilly in the restaurant. Regardless, we would still come back for the tasty sushi

The food here was really great. The volcano roll and unagi nigiri were some of the best I have ever had. Lots of options on the menu. The wait staff was wonderful!

We love this little sushi spot. Feels authentic, nice nigiri options, and friendly service. We usually go during lunch time or order takeout so haven’t encountered issues with slow wait times.

They have a wonderful sake selection. Ones not even printed on their menu. Ask your server about additional sakes.

Wow 😳 surprised at the food experience we had for lunch. Not because I didn't think it was going to be good, but because we are so used to being underwhelmed at other Japanese restaurants. I had the mackerel lunch, it was substantial, and fresh tasting. My wife had the salmon+ tempura 🍤 combo, and it was equally as good. Veggies are done correctly, even the broccoli 🥦 was surprising to me. It was perfectly blenched and chilled in ice water for a finished texture which makes you surprised you are eating a piece of broccoli. Compliments to the chef for maintaining a high regard for food. Will definitely be coming back.

I have traveled to Japan for business probably 15 times, and always have been looking for a place that brings the Japanese feel and quality back home. This is my absolute favorite place in Marin. Not too expensive, family friendly, and a menu that has all the classics, but also some adventurous stuff. Absolutely recommended.
