The new location is very nice and clean. Excellent service and I'll never get tired of the chicken tacos. Considerably cheaper than most fast food joints and the salsa is top notch.

Service was lacking. Took a few minutes to get seated when they weren't busy. Waitress was inattentive. Then they suddenly closed over 4 hours early on a Friday. They didn't even tell us. We overheard them turning away a customer saying they were closed.

I enjoyed my eating experience at Famous Taco true authentic Mexican food. I had the Taco delight dinner, it was very delicious and filling and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning soon.😀

I love the food here! It's small, limited seating and looks like a dive, but I've been eating here for years and the food is authentically delicious! The service is friendly and they keep the meals reasonably priced so you can focus on the good stuff... Cheap cheese, corn tortillas fried for table chips and housemade salsa I buy by the half quart. I bring friends here and they walk away smiling. Well worth the time to come in for lunch or dinner.. The last of the Lansing originals! ❤️

Lansing’s BEST kept little secret is FAMOUS TACO and it’s only weakness is it’s location which is changing in about a month from now. Locally owned and operated, Famous Taco prides itself on authentic Mexican Cuisine without the need for a passport! I honestly can say that I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED and heartily recommend this place! My was taken immediately and I was served within 5 minutes!!! I’m CERTAIN that when I return in August to their new location just South of WAVERLY & ST. JOE, their atmosphere Star Rating will also be a “5” just like their food and service!! P.S. - Discerning eyes will undoubtedly notice that my burrito has already been nibbled on prior to the pic. Sorry - I just COULDN’T RESIST!!!

Looks a little sketchy on the outside but the food is absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. The staff there are incredibly hardworking and helpful. I even forgot my credit card and when I went back the lady at the counter remembered me and handed it back. Overall highly recommended.
